Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood got together during the former football player’s season of The Bachelor.
The couple had a rocky start, to say the least. Randolph attempted to break up with Underwood and leave the show. But Underwood told her that she was his final pick and convinced her to stay.
Today, the couple says they’re very happy together. But because of their bumpy beginning and because the show’s fans are always questioning which Bachelor relationships are real and which ones are for publicity, the authenticity of their relationship is frequently questioned.
Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph are the stars of Adam Doleac’s ‘Famous’ music video
Recently, the couple starred in country music star Adam Doleac’s latest music video for the song “Famous.”
As for how they got cast, Doleac says Underwood and Randolph were the first “famous” couple to publicly show their love for the song.
“We were driving up to Aspen, and I think it was a month after the show just wrapped, so we were still sort of in this weird spotlight that we were still trying to figure out how to manage while being in the public for the first time,” Underwood told TooFab of his and Randolph’s love of the song. “It just resonated for us because fame and being famous — nobody’s meant for that or built for it.”
The video shows a “celebrity” (Underwood), flirting with a “production assistant” (Randolph).
Randolph told the publication that, though adjusting so quickly to a life in the spotlight certainly has its challenges, she feels lucky to have Underwood to “lean on” and “trust,” as he’s going through the same thing she is.
Randolph also feels the “underdog” aspect of the music video is appropriate for her love story with Underwood.
“That typically might not be what people thought, like the movie star falling for a PA instead of falling for another movie star,” Underwood elaborated. “But I think it correlates sort of with my season of ‘The Bachelor.’ It didn’t end in the normal way that a season of ‘The Bachelor’ should, or what the fans thought it should end like.”
Country star Adam Doleac says Colton and Cassie are the real deal
Though the couple sometimes has to swat away rumors about their relationship not being real, or that it’s on the rocks, Doleac says the love Underwood and Randolph have for each other is the real deal.
“I’ve been saying this since I met them,” the country singer told TooFab. “They are very much in love, very happy people. They’ve been amazing to work with. You never know how people are gonna be. Before they got [to Nashville] to shoot the video, we had never met each other, just talked online a little bit and whatnot. I don’t have enough good things to say about them. It’s been great.”
“You don’t wanna be struggling in your relationship and be around these two,” he added. “They’ll make you feel really bad about it.”
