Many celebrities have become new parents or added another child to their family. The cute couple welcomed their first baby on April 14. It was a baby girl named Luna Simone Stephens and she weighed 6 pounds and 11 ounces. The couple used vitro fertilization after having trouble getting pregnant. Teigen opened up about the ordeal on FABLife and talked about fielding questions from the media and fans about her journey.

I can’t imagine being that nosy,” she said on the show, “like, ‘When are the kids coming?’ because who knows what somebody’s going through, who knows if somebody’s struggling? I would say, honestly, [that] John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened, but my gosh, it’s been a process.”

She has since been just as open about motherhood and the criticism that comes with it. “I used to read mommy blogs like crazy so I knew mommy shaming was a thing but I didn’t think it would come from going to dinner,” she said according to ABC. “We were gone for an hour. We had a good meal together.” She continued, “We needed a break. We needed to enjoy each other’s company and be out.”
