While most of the world is stuck at home, some celebrities are using their free time and creativity to produce entertaining videos for their fans. While some use social media to share music and personal updates, others like Will Smith are stepping up to create compelling new series. Here are three celebrity quarantine shows that are actually worth the watch.

Will Smith’s ‘Will From Home’

On his Snapchat series, Will From Home, Bad Boys star Will Smith shares fun and creative videos of himself, his fans, his family, and his celebrity friends. He also hosts game shows with fans, revisits his rap talents, and coordinates dance battles. 

Smith recently coordinated a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion episode, in which he interviewed his co-stars DJ Jazzy Jeff, Alfonso Ribeiro, Karyn Parsons, Tatyana Ali, Daphne Maxwell Reid, and Joseph Marcell. In another installment, Smith hosted a fashion show with Tyra Banks. 

In a recent episode, Smith spoke to the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci. He pulled viewer questions and asked Dr. Fauci to address their concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.

John Krasinski’s ‘Some Good News’

You probably know him as Jim Halpert from The Office, but these days John Krasinski is using his quarantine time to spread joy. On his Youtube show, Some Good News, the actor/director highlights positive stories in a “Weekend Update” style format. He shares uplifting viral videos, interviews his A-list celebrity friends, and uses props like singing sock puppets.

In his first episode, Krasinski marked the 15th anniversary of The Office by interviewing his co-star, Steve Carrell. In another installment, Krasinski put on a tux and hosted a virtual prom with Billie Eilish, The Jonas Brothers, Chance the Rapper, and Rainn Wilson. Other notable celebrities who’ve appeared on his show include Brad Pitt, Guy Fieri, Martha Stewart, and Stanley Tucci.

Riz Ahmed’s ‘The Long Lockdown’

Like Smith and Krasinski, Rogue One star, Riz Ahmed is an award-winning actor who’s using his free time to create engaging new content with his Youtube series, The Long Lockdown. On the show, Ahmed talks about his new album, The Long Goodbye, and highlights important issues like mental wellness, immigration, and identity.

On a recent episode of the show, Ahmed spoke to Four Weddings and a Funeral star Guz Khan and Patriot Act host Hasan Minhaj. The actors had a long and interesting conversation about where Muslim and South Asian actors stand in Hollywood.

In another installment of his series, Ahmed interviewed Milk and Honey author, Rupi Kaur and Pakistani writer, Fatima Bhutto. Notable British actors Kayvan Novak and Nigel Lindsay have also appeared on the show.
