Famed Actress Charlize Theron Is Ready for Peter Weber’s ‘Turbulent’ Season of ‘The Bachelor’
Bombshell actress Charlize Theron has always been open about her love for The Bachelor. When she was on The Late Late Show With James Corden in 2018 she shared her ritual for watching the reality series.
“I basically feel like, I am dating the Bache- like, the show. On Monday night, because my kids can’t read a clock yet, so I just get them to bed at like 5:45 and then I have like, I open a bottle of wine, take a bath, I get all ready and then I watch The Bachelor and that’s my date night,” she said told James Corden. “I just date the show.”
“I don’t want to be on the show,” she added. “I want to just watch.”
Mixed feelings about Peter Weber as the bachelor
When Peter Weber was announced to be the bachelor this season, fans had mixed feelings. Much of Bachelor Nation were pulling for Mike Johnson to be the first black male lead.
“People probably didn’t think I was considered to be the bachelor because I was trying to be so respectful of the crew at Bachelor world and I didn’t want to speak about it. Even when I went on TV. I thought that was being extremely respectful and a gentlemen of me to the Bachelor world. And Peter didn’t do those interviews so he didn’t have to go through that. I 100% wanted to be the bachelor. Reasons being: One, I do want to find a wife. Two, it was bigger than me and I wanted to represent for all people of color,” he said on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast back in September.
Johnson thinks the franchise definitely has a lack of diversity, which is something he hopes to see change in the future.
“Talking about people of color, they need to have an Asian bachelor, they need to have an Indian bachelor,” he said on the podcast. “They need to have other people outside of just black and white.”

Since that time, it seems the show’s fans have grown more excited to see Weber take flight, including Theron.
“Turbulence I like,” the actress captioned a black and white photo of her standing in front of a Bachelor promotional poster featuring Weber.
Weber responded to the post: “Buckle up Charlize.”
Actress January Jones also commented on the post.
“Omg!!! I can. Not. Wait,” she wrote.
