Will Chris Bukowski Go Back on ‘BIP’ Post Split With Katie Morton?
Another Bachelor in Paradise couple has broken up. On December 10, 2019, Chris Bukowski and Katie Morton announced via Instagram that they had called it quits. The split comes after a four-month engagement that was riddled with ups and downs. Of course, this was far from Bukowski’s first rodeo. In fact, the 33-year-old holds the title for being on the most Bachelor franchise shows, with six, separate appearances. But, will the Chicago native return to paradise next season now that he and Morton are no longer together?
Earlier today, Morton and Bukowski took a page out of Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty’s book and issued identical statements via Instagram confirming their breakup. Posting sweet couple photos, they shared that they had loving decided to break up. “One of the many lessons this life has taught us is that it’s okay to be stubborn in the pursuit of happiness. To fight for what is real and good, and that often times [sic] the hardest thing and the right thing are the same,” the statement began.

Bukowski and Morton continued on to share that calling off their engagement was for the best at this time in their lives. “We’ve reached a point in our story where we agree it’s best to go our separate ways. We have chosen to love and respect each other as friends because that’s the base of our relationship, and it’s what is most natural for us,” the Bachelor in Paradise alums confessed.
Finally, the pair thanked Bachelor nation for their support as well as those they loved the most, while also showing appreciation for each other and their love story. “We are incredibly thankful for the support we’ve received from our family, friends and everyone who supported us throughout our journey – from paradise to this moment. We are grateful for everything that we’ve learned in this chapter, and are hopeful for what is to come in life and in love for both of us,” Morton and Bukowski concluded.
Will Bukowski return to Bachelor in Paradise
But what does this breakup mean for Bukowski’s future? Nicknamed the “Bachelor elder” on the most recent season of Bachelor in Paradise, Bukowski’s presence in the franchise has become something of a staple. So, will he consider returning the next season of paradise? Summer 2020 is a long way away and by then, there’s a good chance that Morton and Bukowski both will have moved on from their engagement. But does that mean Bukowski will return for his seventh appearance on the show?
Will the Bachelor elder return
On a recent episode of Invest Diva, hosted by Kiana Danial, Bukowski was asked if he’d ever return to the Bachelor franchise.”Never say never, you know?” he joked, likely referring to the time he said he was officially retiring from reality tv, only to return to paradise a few years later. But, as Bukowski continued to speak, it seemed like he was ready to exit the franchise for good.
“There’s always something that kind of pulls me back. Because, there’s a lot of good that comes from it, and a lot of experiences – unbelievable… obviously there’s a lot of bad that comes it too, but.. it just kind of became part of my life. I literally did it this whole decade: from 2012 till 2019. So, its a whole decade of tv,” Bukowski began.
“You know its fun, I wouldn’t change it. I wouldn’t change it at all, but I think its time to, you know, be done with it,” Bukowski concluded. Though the Bachelor alum seemed fairly certain, this interview was conducted prior to his breakup with Morton, so he could change his mind in time. Only time will tell if he comes back for what could be lucky number seven.
