Chrishell Stause Responds to Christine Quinn’s ‘Information’ on Her Divorce With Justin Hartley
Headlines about Justin Hartley and Chrishell Stause really focused on the fact that she was surprised by him filing for divorce. Selling Sunset will follow her life after he filed. Christine Quinn commented on their divorce and Stause isn’t holding back from showing she isn’t happy about it.
Justin Hartley filed for divorce from Chrishell Stause
Hartley filed for divorce from Stause on Nov. 22, 2019. This reportedly was a shock to Stause.
The newest season of Selling Sunset will show Stause’s reaction to the situation. “I’m just kind of in shock with it all,” she said in a clip from an upcoming episode. Stause is then seen packing a bag.
Her friend and co-star Amanza Smith talked to Us Weekly giving an update on Stause. “She’s doing awesome,” she said. “She seems happy. She’s so positive. She sees it for what it is, even though she was blindsided and heartbroken and all that. She was like, ‘If somebody basically could do that to me, then that’s not the one who she wants to be with.’”
People are still curious about what happened between the This Is Us star and Stause. Quinn claimed she knew something about the couple’s time together before he filed.
Christine Quinn claimed they went to therapy
Quinn did an interview with Page Six and claimed to know what the couple was doing to work on their marriage before Hartley filed for divorce. She claimed they were trying to get help to work on their issues.
“We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while,” the reality star said. “We heard that they were in therapy, so obviously there were some issues going on with them.”
The reality star said she didn’t know what their martial problems were. However, she did provide one detail that might reveal their differences.
“I think that was the understanding that they had is that he wanted to be totally private in regards to Selling Sunset, which she respected,” Quinn said. “So, we’re never going to see him on the show and we’re never going to see her talk about him, and I really don’t think there’s ever any resolve unfortunately.”
Stause responded to her comments
Stause isn’t happy about Quinn speaking about her divorce. She tweeted on July 13 about her comments.
“I just learned Christine is giving press ‘information’ about my divorce. Let me be VERY clear. She knows absolutely nothing about the situation and is obviously desperate to gain attention by doing so. Anything from her is either a complete lie or total conjecture on her part,” Stause tweeted.
“It’s so frustrating and unfortunate that someone would use someone’s personal painful situation to get press for themselves. I can’t say I am surprised, but please check the source. She has absolutely zero knowledge of the marriage we had,” she tweeted.
It looks like Stause and Quinn still don’t get along. Stause didn’t directly address whether she went to therapy with Hartley before the divorce filing.
