Chrissy Teigen Is Totally Chill About Letting Her Children Climb All Over Expensive Art

It seems like every day there’s a new reason to fall more in love with Chrissy Teigen. From her snarky, sarcastic social media posts to her exceptionally down-to-earth life with her musician husband John Legend and their two adorable children Luna and Miles, it’s clear that this A-list couple is the definition of relationship goals.

Their fans love them for how candidly they share their lives, making them feel more like your best friend than rich and famous celebrities.

And now Chrissy Teigen is at it again, delighting her followers with a simple Instagram post. Despite being warned by Kim Kardashian that she should properly respect any piece of art, Teigen took the laid-back parenting approach — again — and snapped a fun photo of her 18-month-old son Miles having a little fun instead.

Chrissy Teigen refuses to take life too seriously

The Instagram snap in question shows Miles straddling a $750 paint-splattered bulldog sculpture that Teigen and John Legend have displayed in their home. The caption says, “he’s meeeee!!” and tags Kris Jenner.

This might be a little confusing for fans who don’t remember the classic story of Teigen’s wild antics at her baby shower in April 2018. At the event, Teigen jokingly climbed atop a Lalanne sheep sculpture while Kim Kardashian jokingly scolded her that it was a “precious piece of art.”

The infamous sheep, which were designed in the 1960s and can fetch hundreds of thousands of dollars at auction — has become a status symbol for celebrity homes. But because Chrissy Teigen is who she is, she refused to treat an inanimate object with so much respect and reverence.

She struggled to get pregnant and appreciates her kids so much now

Teigen’s road to parenthood was hard-won. The 33-year-old model was transparent about her struggles with infertility, opening up about failed IVF attempts and the intense emotions associated with going through that hard time.

“It’s also easy to grow resentful of how easy it is for some people, when you’re literally mixing your own powders and chemicals to inject into your belly, shoving progesterone up there,” she said. But ultimately, she found the experience worth it.

“Still, it’s a complete miracle when it works. There are so many people that still struggle, even with access to IVF,” she concluded.

She has the reputation of being a cool mom

The statue riding isn’t the first time Chrissy Teigen proved that she’s not a regular mom, she’s more like a cool mom. There are so many photos of Teigen having fun and genuinely enjoying being silly with her kids, getting down and playing with them on their level.

Teigen did say she won’t post photos of her kids having tantrums or meltdowns because that would be “embarrassing” for them in the future. But she isn’t afraid to make a fool of herself or to call out her husband for his weird antics and stuff he does.

And when it comes to letting her kids ride on art? Chrissy Teigen is all about it. No wonder the fans love her so much.
