Chrissy Teigen’s Net Worth and How She Makes Her Money

For anyone who thinks that Chrissy Teigen just lives on her husband John Legend’s money, that is simply not the case. The social media queen has made quite a fortune of her own over the years and in a variety of different ways. Here’s how she made it and how much she is worth.
Tiegen started out modeling and became a substitute “briefcase girl” on the game show Deal or No Deal in 2006. It was on that show that she worked with future royal, Meghan Markle.
“I think she came in the second season or something,” Teigen said in an interview with Andy Cohen. “I did it from pilot season to the first season, and then I got demoted because I couldn’t walk down the stairs. I got fired or something.
“It was a very blurry time in my life,” she joked but added what she did recall about Markle, saying, “I remember her being just very quiet and sweet. Just really kind, and I don’t say that about anybody.”
Post her gig on the popular game show, Teigen landed the cover of Maxim’s 2007 calendar. Three years later, she appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alongside Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge. Following that, she graced the covers of several other publications including Cosmopolitan and did campaigns for Gillette, Venus, Olay, Nike, Gap Factory, and UGG Australia to name a few. Teigen has also written cookbooks and co-hosted the show Lip Sync Battle with LL Cool J.
All that, along with her spots on The View, FABLife, MTV’s reality series Snack-Off , the Cooking Channel’s Chrissy Teigen’s Hungry and Cookies and Cocktails have earned her a net worth of over $13 million, according to Forbes.
