Does Colton Underwood Already Have an Engagement Ring for Girlfriend, Cassie Randolph?
Like all new couples from The Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise, Colton and Cassie made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! following Tuesday’s two-part finale. And, in a true Bachelor-like manner, they received an impressive dazzler from the show’s jeweler.
Cassie Randolph’s engagement ring
According to Page Six, Cassie Randolph’s engagement ring is a platinum sparkler featuring 162 round brilliant-cut diamonds and a two-carat princess-cut center diamond. The entire ring allegedly weighs around three carats total.
Will Colton propose to Cassie?
During their after the finale interview, Jimmy Kimmel shocked the couple with their would-be engagement ring. And, although the couple did discuss their plans for the future and confirmed they are in the “pre-engagement period,” Colton did not confirm whether or not he would use the ring made for the happy couple.
Do they still get a free Neil Lane engagement ring?
By the looks of it, an engagement is on the horizon for the reality stars. However, Colton might decide to choose a different ring. “If you don’t want that one you can pick out a different one,” Jimmy Kimmel noted after surprising them with the ring. “It doesn’t have to be that ring,” he added.
Will The Bachelor still gift Colton and Cassie an engagement ring? It’s unclear. But, given how much the franchise has already invested in Colton’s love life (the former NFL player has looked for love on The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, and The Bachelor), probably.
Do ‘Bachelor’ contestants get to keep the ring?
Even if Colton receives a ring from The Bachelor franchise and Neil Lane, he and Cassie would have to be together for at least two years in order to keep the ring. According to reports, Bachelor and Bachelorette couples that break up under two years have to return the ring, which is donated by Neil Lane in exchange for promotion on the show.
“In the contract, it says if you are not together for two years after the final day of the show airing, you have to give them the ring back,” Jesse Csinsak who was engaged to DeAnna Pappas told Bustle.
Contestants can choose other rings — and have even paid for their own — but they all want to be part of The Bachelor’s Neil Lane club. “They want to be part of a club when they go to these reunions,” the jeweler told StyleCaster. “All the girls stick their hands out and go, ‘Oh Neil, look at my ring!” he added.
Does ‘The Bachelor’ pay for wedding bands, too?
If Colton and Cassie end up married, The Bachelor might cover their wedding bands, too. When Sean and Catherine Lowe got married, the franchise paid for their wedding, their wedding bands, and paid the couple a six-figure salary for the television rights to their wedding.
