Colton Underwood Writes About Dealing with Anxiety at the End of His Trip with Cassie Randolph
The Bachelor couple is continuing to spend time together after the show. They recently posted beautiful pictures from their vacation, but Colton Underwood had an important message at the end of their trip. What did he have to say about anxiety? Here is everything you need to know.
Colton Underwood said that he saw a therapist regularly on The Bachelor
The former football player is open to talking about his mental health. He previously tweeted about therapy.
“On a serious note, I see a therapist regularly. This doesn’t make me crazy or delusional… it actually makes me sane. Mental health is HEALTH,” he tweeted according to Us Weekly.
He also revealed in an interview with TV Insider that he was provided with a therapist throughout the show. The reality star was asked if he could talk to friends or family during the process. He answered, “No. They actually provide a therapist on the show, so any time I wanted to meet with my therapist I could, which was nice.”
Filming the show wasn’t the end of him talking about mental health. He also revealed that he struggled with anxiety as he was dealing with fame.
He previously said he had social anxiety dealing with fans
The former reality star had a lot of fans coming up to him with questions. Those questions awkwardly included whether he was still a virgin.
“I don’t even want to complain about anything because it’s all amazing opportunities and fun but you just go from being a normal person to everybody knowing everything about you,” Underwood told Kaitlyn Bristowe on her podcast, Off the Vine.
He continued, “The conversations in the grocery store are so lopsided and kind of gave me social anxiety right off the show because everyone knows everything about my sex life and about me.”

Cassie Randolph and Underwood went on vacation together in Bermuda and it looks like they had a fun time. They posted pictures on the beach, on a boat, and riding a moped together. The Bachelor winner wrote they went snorkeling and swimming in the ocean.
The couple’s trip to Bermuda seems to be over. He posted a picture of them together with a caption reflecting on it.
In the caption he wrote, “What a week. Lots of reflecting and soaking in everything that has happened these past few months. At times I have felt super overwhelmed and my anxiety has ran really high. I’m still looking for my purpose and I’m still looking for a better sense of direction…even when I act like I have it all together and figured out (I like to call it my false confidence)…but the one thing I do have figured out and am certain of is that I’m very grateful and very very lucky to have so many incredible people in my life. I’m so appreciative of you all. You are blessings.”
It’s unknown what the couple plan to do next. They have talked about dating with the intention of getting engaged one day. The reality star seems to continue to want to be open about his mental health and relationship after the show.
