Could Donald Trump Be the Reason Why Andy Cohen Has to Find a New Gym?

Although Andy Cohen has been hitting it hard at the gym lately, he may have to find a new place to workout.

The Bravo producer often shares playful images and videos to Instagram with his trainer Stan at his gym, Equinox. He seems to love going to the gym, but new information about Equinox may force him to go gym shopping. He shared what he learned to his Instagram story. And, needless to say, Cohen is not very happy.

As he pans across the front of his Equinox location he makes some pretty unhappy remarks. “So Equinox and Soul Cycle are giving our money to the Trump campaign,” he says. “Their chairman of the company that owns them is having a big fundraiser in the Hamptons this weekend for Trump.”

He doesn’t seem to be going back any time soon

As Cohen films the outside of the building he adds that he wanted to do cardio today. However, now he’s pretty conflicted about going back into a company that supports Trump. “I mean, it’s going f**k up traffic and he’s f**king up his business. So … ugh… I was going to do cardio later today. What do I do?”

He zooms the camera in further. “What are you doing to us,” Cohen remarks. According to Advocate, Stephen Ross, chairman of Related Companies, and his wife plan to hold a fundraiser for Trump this Friday in the Hamptons.

Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner is anticipated to be at the event, along with Donald Trump, Jr. and other senior members of the Trump administration. Ross has been an active donor to several foundations and campaigns with 93% of his donations going to Republicans, according to Advocate.

Cohen is a vocal Trump opponent

When Trump won the presidential election in 2016, Cohen expressed hope that Trump would become presidential. While Cohen openly expressed his dislike for Trump, he tried to maintain a positive outlook immediately following the election. “I hope that we can all come together,” he told EW in 2016. “I want to him to succeed because if he succeeds, our country succeeds, and I hope he gets jobs for everybody.”

Fast forward three years and Cohen sees that Trump has only divided the country. He often speaks out with disbelief, especially during global events like when Trump and the royal family finally met. “We are so sorry you had to endure these miserable people,” Cohen wrote on Prince William and Kate Middleton’s official Instagram, People reports.

He also has some pretty epic responses to many of Trump’s tweets. Most recently, when Trump slammed presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke, Cohen launched this hilarious tweet. “Go dye your hair, sister.” And when Trump insisted he was the “least racist person” Cohen couldn’t resist. “Have another cheeseburger, Mary.”

Cohen doesn’t limit his tweets to just the president. When Ivanka Trump tweeted that white supremacy is a form of terrorism, he asked, “Are you punking us right now?”
