Could This Tweet Reveal Ariana Grande’s Album Release Date?

2019 has already been quite the year for pop mogul Ariana Grande. On January 18th, she released her latest single “7 Rings.

Before it’s release, the teasers of the song had fans waiting with baited breathe to see what Grande would put out next. And according to the charts, the song did not disappoint. The track is expected to land on Billboard’s Hot 100 list once it has been out for a full week to allow for data tracking.

After the song was released, it left fans wanting more and, above all, wondering when we would get another Grande album.

Well, we are in luck because a few tweets from Grande have hinted that we may be getting an album sooner than we had imagined.

The Album’s Release Date

Grande must have been feeling really generous this past weekend as she went on a tweeting spree that pretty much spelled out when her next album would be released.

“Two albums in six months huh. That’s deep. Love u. Talk soon,” she tweeted.

As fans know, her album “Sweetener” was just released in August of 2018. Six months from that release date would land her next album to be released in February. She also tweeted that the track list would be made public on Friday, the 25th.

As far as a specific album release date, a fan tweeted Grande asking if the release date would be February 8th because it was the girl’s 21st birthday.

The singer responded by saying “how convenient.”

She has also joked on Twitter that a Feb. 14 release date would be perfect for people celebrating Valentine’s Day alone.

So while there is no specific release date quite yet, it seems like we will be getting this album in the first half of February.

The album will be available for preorder on Friday the 25th.

As we mentioned, “7 Rings” is Grande’s latest single off of her forthcoming album to be released but it isn’t the only one that we have heard.

In November of 2018, Grande released her hit song “Thank U, Next.” The song detailed a few of the singer’s past relationships and what each one of them taught her. Since it’s release, it has been dubbed by many as a breakup anthem.

The song was released shortly after her split from her fiance Pete Davidson. Despite the breakup surrounding the song, the single became Grande’s first hit to top Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. The song held down the number 1 spot for 7 weeks.

In December, Grande released another single from the album called “Imagine.” The song continued on with the theme of heartbreak and moving on.

“For those of you asking about imagine: I would say if ‘thank u, next’ = acceptance… ‘imagine’ = denial. Hope that makes sense,” she said on her Instagram story of the song. “Kind of like… pretending it never ended. ”

All three of the songs that Grande has released from this next album have been a shake-up from the singer’s normal routine and have been met with lots of praise.

We’ll have to wait until next month to see what the rest of the album holds.
