‘Counting On’ Fans Are Positive This Move Proves Jill Duggar Is Feuding With Her Famous Family
The Duggars are officially celebrating Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo’s move to California, though Jill Duggar was oddly missing from the family’s visit to the Golden State. While the rest of the Duggars— including disgraced Josh Duggar — made the trip, Jill Duggar was nowhere to be found. The absence has convinced Counting On fans that she is still feuding with the rest of the family. So is Jill really at odds with her famous family?
The Duggars go to California
Earlier this year, Jinger Duggar and her husband relocated to Los Angeles so that he could finish his degree at a local divinity school.
Although the move made perfect sense for the Counting On stars, the rest of the Duggars were reportedly unhappy about the couple living in a city like Los Angeles. After all, they believe it is a place where godless liberalism runs amok.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar reportedly disowned Jinger and her hubby for making the move, though their recent trip out west proves those rumors were wrong.
In fact, the Duggar parents shared pics from their California trip on Instagram, showing that the vast majority of their children made the trip as well.
While it was great to see the family support, the Duggars had a good reason to venture out of their Arkansas compound.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, TLC cameras were on hand to capture the big trip to Los Angeles, which means it will be featured on Counting On before too long. It also means that the Duggars are getting paid for the outing — so win-win for them.
This could also explain why the rest of the family made the trip. But what it doesn’t clear up is why Jill Duggar was nowhere to be seen.
Jill Duggar stays behind
Based on recent Instagram activity, we can confirm that Jill was not present for the Los Angeles reunion. While her family was mingling with Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo, Jill Duggar was sharing photos of a party she attended with her friendly neighbors.
Fans were quick to notice that Jill was not in California with the rest of the gang, and some speculated that it had something to do with Jim Bob Duggar’s reported feud with her hubby, Derick Dillard.
Dillard has not been a part of Counting On since he was fired in 2017. TLC booted him from the show because he made questionable comments about the LGBTQ community on social media.
Despite being let go, Dillard has not shied away from sharing his thoughts on Twitter, which has reportedly driven a wedge between him and the rest of the Duggars.
If the rumors are true, this could explain why Jill Duggar did not make the trip to California. Not only would it be awkward between Jim Bob Duggar and Dillard, but producers probably did not want him there either.
That said, Jill was not the only member of her family who did not visit Jinger. Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, also opted out, though it is still unclear why they stayed home.
Did Michelle Duggar confirm the family feud?
While we wait for the drama to unfold on Counting On, Michelle may have just confirmed the family feud.
Taking to the family’s official blog, Michelle wrote about how people should avoid comparisons, which only leads to jealousy and bitterness. Although she did not mention anyone by name, fans were convinced that she was cryptically referring to Dillard and Jill and their relationship with Jinger Duggar.
It is also curious to note that Jill does not follow her sister or Vuolo on social media, which could be another sign that something is amiss.
The Duggars, of course, have not commented on the feud rumors and will likely remain silent to save face. Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are currently working as missionaries and post updates on their blog often.
New episodes of Counting On air Tuesday nights on TLC.
