Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth buy a new home

Forsyth and Duggar have purchased a few houses since they got married, but all of them were investment opportunities. The pair flipped the houses, living in them briefly before selling and making a profit.

Because of their business in flipping homes, the couple has spent the majority of their marriage living in an RV. But that all changed this month when they agreed to purchase a home from her parents.

According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth bought their new house at the low price of $10. Given how they bought it from the Duggars at a rock-bottom price, it is safe to say they will live there for a long time.

“Sooo…WE BOUGHT A HOUSE and YES! We plan to settle down and live in this one for awhile!” the couple announced.

The land records from the purchase confirm that the pair only spent 10 bucks on the place, which was originally bought in September. They also spent the same amount on a piece of land next door to their new house, which, you guessed it, was also sold by Joy-Anna Duggar’s parents.

Did Duggar and Forsyth really on spend $10 on their new house?

While the records prove that Duggar and Forsyth only paid 10 bucks on their new house, there is a chance the selling price was higher. It is possible that the couple gave Duggar’s parents a larger sum for the home that was not disclosed in the official bill of sale.

Joy-Anna Duggar’s parents could have also given her the property as a gift in what is known as a Quitclaim deed. In that scenario, the pair could have skipped the traditional sale process because it would be viewed as a gift.

Either way, the two got an absolute steal of a deal for the house and property, both of which have been in her family for years.

The Duggars originally purchased the property in 2010 for around $30,000. The land was next door to a piece of property that was owned by Duggar’s grandmother, Mary Duggar. With Duggar and Forsyth now owning the land, it will likely stay in the family for years to come.

Joy-Anna Duggar is excited to leave her camper

Aside from the monetary details of the sale, Duggar and her husband were obviously excited about leaving their RV for a real home.

Taking to social media, Duggar expressed her excitement about gaining extra room in the house and being in a more permanent place.

“After a year and a half of camper living, we’re so ready! I love living in the camper, but I’m ready for more space and a little more organization!” Joy-Anna Duggar told her followers.

Duggar noted that the new house as three beds and three baths and features an open floor design. They also fixed up the house to make it more livable, replacing the flooring, countertops, and trim, and painting the walls.

It is not surprising that Duggar is happy about having a real house to call home. She has lived in a camper for the past year and it was no doubt getting a little cramped with a baby in the house.

Fans react to Duggar’s new home

Fans were just as excited to see Joy-Anna Duggar leaving her camper behind for a more spacious living arrangement.

Duggar’s followers shared in her enthusiasm on social media, and a few of her family members also got in on the fun.

“So happy for you guys! Can’t wait till it’s done and y’all are all settled in!” Anna Duggar shared.

Although she is excited about her new digs, Joy-Anna Duggar did not reveal when she is planning on moving in. The couple is still doing some renovations to the place, so it might be a few more weeks until they official pack their bags.

It is also worth noting that Duggar and Forsyth’s new neighbors are actually her cousins. That’s right, the two will be living next door to Amy Duggar King and her hubby, Dillon King, which means they are going to feel at home before they know it.
