‘Counting On’: How Many Eligible Duggar Bachelors Are There?
The Duggar family could, theoretically, have their own dating reality show. With 19 kids and an odd take on how the dating process goes, most fans would tune in to see it. After all, the family has no shortage of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. With eight of the 19 kids officially married off, fans are left wondering who will be next, and who in the family, is an eligible bachelor at the moment.
Jason Duggar was rumored to be keeping things in the family
Jason Duggar, at just 19, is already well on his way to a lucrative career. By 16 years old, he had purchased a home that he intended to flip. Shortly after reaching legal age he sold the property for more than $100,000 in profit.
For now, Jason is still living at the Duggar family compound, but rumors of a courtship were swirling earlier in the year. A guide in Greece claimed that Jason was courting Lauren Caldwell. Lauren is the sister of Kendra. Kendra is currently married to Jason’s older brother Joseph. The couple are awaiting the arrival of their second child together.
Nothing official has been announced by the Duggar family, but a potential love connection could still be brewing. The family may be waiting until the couple is officially engaged to announce a courtship. It’s also possible that the pair are merely friends and the tour guide got it all wrong. Fans will need to wait and see.
Double trouble comes in the form of twins, Jedidiah and Jeremiah
Jedidiah and Jeremiah Duggar are the second set of twins for the Duggar family. At 20 years old, they are right in the sweet spot for Duggar marriages. While little is known about the twins, an alleged former employee claims that Jedidiah experienced heartbreak once already, and it came at the hands of his sister-in-law.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, Jed was courting Kendra before his brother, Joseph, bumped him out of the running. According to the alleged employee, the entire situation caused a great deal of conflict for the brothers, but Jed has allegedly forgiven his older brother for ruining his potential relationship.
Jeremiah, on the other hand, seemingly hasn’t experienced the same hardship as his twin. Ok! Magazine suggests that Jeremiah might find love before his twin brother. The curly-haired Duggar boy was spotted out and about with two ladies. While fans are speculating that it may have been a double date, the reality TV family has neither confirmed nor denied courtship rumors.
We can’t forget the forever bachelorette
Jana Duggar, at 29, is the oldest unmarried Duggar in the group. While rumors have long swirled that she’s courted several men, no one has stuck to the eldest Duggar daughter just yet. For now, Jana is hanging out at home, gardening and trying her hand at interior design.
That doesn’t mean fans aren’t desperate to see her settle down and find Mr. Right. Rumor has it that the reality TV star is quietly courting Lawson Bates. Lawson, 27, shares the same religious faith as Jana. His family, who star in their own reality TV show, are also friendly with the Duggar family, so a courtship isn’t out of the question. For the time being, they have denied any romantic relationship, but have admitted to being close friends.
