‘Counting On’: Jinger Duggar Shows She’s Ready for Fall With Adorable Photo of Daughter Felicity

Temperatures may still be in the 80s in Los Angeles, but recent California transplant Jinger Duggar is ready for fall. The Counting On star shared an adorable photo of her daughter Felicity the other day, along with a quote about how much she loves the month of October.

Jinger Duggar loves October

On October 3, Jinger shared a photo of her one-year-old daughter posing with a pumpkin.

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers,” the 25-year-old reality TV star wrote.

Though Jinger didn’t share an attribution, the often-quoted line is spoken by the character Anne Shirley in the classic novel Anne of Green Gable by L.M. Montgomery.

Fans loved the charming photo of Felicity. “Soooooo cute!!! That pumpkin is almost bigger then her!!!” commented one.

“Gorgeous pic!!!! October is indeed awesome!” wrote another.

Do Jinger and Jeremy celebrate Halloween?

Given Jinger’s love of fall, a number of people on Instagram wanted to know if Jinger and her husband Jeremy Vuolo would be doing anything for Halloween.

“Do you guys celebrate Halloween? I always was curious,” one person asked.

“What costume will she wear for Halloween and Trick or Treating?” another wondered.

Jinger didn’t respond to fan questions on the post, but chances are we won’t be seeing baby Felicity dressed up as a little witch this October 31. Jinger Duggar didn’t grow up celebrating the holiday.

“While we do go to pumpkin patches and corn mazes, we don’t do the Halloween thing,” Jinger’s mom Michelle Duggar wrote in a 2011 blog post that’s since been deleted. “From the beginning of our marriage, we just kind of felt like we didn’t want to celebrate that holiday. But we enjoy the harvest celebration.”

Jinger and Jeremy didn’t share any photos of their daughter in costume last Halloween, which suggests they’re sticking with her family’s tradition of skipping the spooky celebration. But if they do decide to get in the spirit, one person had a costume suggestion.

“How cute would she be dressed as a pumpkin for Halloween?” one fan wrote.

So far, we haven’t seen any sign that Jinger or her daughter will be donning costumes and heading out to collect candy this year. But at least one Duggar is known to enjoy the holiday. Cousin Amy Duggar King raised eyebrows in 2016 when she dressed up as Julia Roberts’ prostitute character Vivian from the movie Pretty Woman.

Amy and Jinger are friends, with the Duggar cousin even commenting on Jinger’s fall-themed post. And Jinger has been known to push Duggar family boundaries in the past. She regularly wears pants, has moved thousands of miles away from her parents in Arkansas, and has adopted a more Instagram-friendly hipster style since relocating to California. And she loves to post photos of her daughter on social media. Will she be able to resist the temptation to dress Felicity up in a cute costume? We’ll have to wait and see.
