‘Counting On’: Jinger Duggar’s Husband Jeremy Vuolo and Daughter Felicity Rock Adorable Matching Shirts While Choosing a Christmas Tree
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Jinger Duggar’s house. The Counting On star has already given fans a peek at her holiday decorations in her Instagram Story. Now, it seems that the family is getting ready to decorate their tree.
A trip to a Christmas tree farm
Jinger, 25, and her husband Jeremy Vuolo, 32, moved to Los Angeles earlier in 2019. But even though they’re now living in the land of palm trees and sun, they still managed to find a way to enjoy a quintessential holiday activity: chopping down their own Christmas tree.
On Dec. 17, Jeremy shared a few images of himself and daughter Felicity, 1, at a Christmas tree farm in Menifee, Calif.
“Recently, we journeyed to a tree farm right here in Southern California and cut down our very own Christmas tree!” the former pro soccer player wrote on Instagram of his family’s trip to Wickerd Farm.
Jeremy Vuolo and Felicity wore matching outfits
The two photos show Jeremy and Felicity at the tree farm, both dressed in matching red and black buffalo checked shirts and blue jeans.
“Needless to say, the little munchkin and I had to go full lumberjack,” the dad of one wrote in his caption.
Commenters agreed that the pair’s coordinating outfits were adorable, responding with comments like “too cute” and “love this.”
Will Jinger and Jeremy spend Christmas in California?
Jinger and Jeremy haven’t dropped any hints about their Christmas plans on social media. Last year, they spent the holiday with Jeremy’s family. Is it possible that they’ll be traveling back to Arkansas to celebrate with Jinger’s family?
Based on her social media posts, Jinger hasn’t been back in her home state since her grandmother’s funeral in June. However, her parents and other members of her family have visited her in California since then, as have Jeremy’s parents. It’s possible that Jinger and Jeremy will travel back to Arkansas for Christmas, but they may choose to celebrate in their new home.
Duggar family Christmas traditions
The Duggar family has some unique Christmas traditions, like singing happy birthday to Jesus and skipping Santa Claus. But as with most families, as the Duggar kids grow older and start families of their own, they’re choosing to celebrate the holiday in their own way. For example, while Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar don’t put up a big Christmas tree, it seems that many of their kids do.
In addition to putting up a tree, Jinger’s big sister Jill Duggar lets her two kids watch secular Christmas specials like A Charlie Brown Christmas and Frosty the Snowman. And based on the big stack of Amazon boxes on her doorstep, Jessa Duggar is apparently planning to spoil her family with gifts. Even Jim Bob and Michelle are embracing new traditions, like hosting an ugly sweater party, showing that there are many different ways to celebrate the Christmas holiday.
