‘Counting On’: Josh Duggar’s Wife, Anna, Reportedly Keeps Losing Track of Her Kids
We’ve been keeping up with the Duggar family for years thanks to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar bringing their 19 kids into the spotlight. But the family is often cast in a negative light. And if there’s one family member who’s the most controversial, it has to be Josh.
Josh was involved in the sexual abuse of his sisters when they were young, and he also admitted to having an account with cheating website Ashley Madison as well as seeking out pornography. And all of this really exploded due to his marriage to Anna Duggar.
Anna has stood by Josh through all the drama, however, and she maintains he’s an amazing father and husband. Now, she’s pregnant with baby No. 6 — but it seems current Duggar drama may be getting the best of her, as she keeps losing track of her and Josh’s five kids.

Aside from their ultra-strict household rules and Christian ways, the Duggars are well-known for having plenty of kids. While Michelle Duggar was on birth control for a brief period of time in her life, she believes it was the reason behind one of her miscarriages. Since then, she vowed to leave the number of kids she would have up to God — and it looks like Josh and Anna are following right in those same footsteps.
Us Weekly notes Anna had their daughter, Mackynzie, back in 2009, and Michael arrived two years later. Since then, the couple has had three more kids — Marcus, Meredith, and Mason. And they’re now preparing for baby No. 6.
“We couldn’t be happier to share with the world that our family is growing by one this Fall,” the couple exclusively told Us. “We continually stand amazed by God’s love, redemption, grace and blessings in our lives. Our entire little family is ecstatic!”
Anna reportedly lost track of one of her kids at Silver Dollar City Theme Park
Anna may think she’s prepared for another child, but it looks like she may have trouble keeping track of the ones she already has. Radar Online reports the Duggars, including Jim Bob, Michelle, Josh, Anna, and Josh and Anna’s kids, all went to Silver Dollar City Theme Park in Missouri. But onlookers noted the family dynamics seemed to be strained. And at one point, Anna lost track of one of her kids.
“Josh and Anna were sitting on the asphalt within the park while their kids ran around from ride to ride,” an insider alleged. “It was so weird that they were a bit far from their kids, but all of a sudden Anna was looking really frantic.”
Luckily, Jim Bob was around to save the day. The insider continued, “They were all concerned. But then Jim Bob Duggar found her in the butterfly ride and told Anna, who was relieved.”
So, why was Anna so rattled? It might have something to do with recent rumors suggesting Homeland Security’s investigating Josh’s car lot. All the details have yet to be released, but all eyes are on Josh and Anna for now due to what’s being said.
This isn’t the first time she’s lost one of her children in public
According to CafeMom, Anna has a bit of a reputation for losing her kids at this point. Back in October, Josh and Anna (along with a number of other Duggars) visited Jinger Duggar in California. And during a trip to the Autry Museum, Anna reportedly lost track of one of the kids yet again.
The publication notes a witness told Radar Online that Anna was frantically asking “Where’s Mason?” after realizing he wasn’t with them. Anna allegedly thought Mason was with Mackynzie and a few other family members. “You guys were supposed to be watching him! Where is he?” Anna asked again before “circling around the maze of exhibits for two minutes.”
Mason was found, of course. Jinger let Anna know everything was just fine, as the child was with her. But the source also added that Josh seemed unconcerned by the whole thing. “Anna has a lot she’s dealing with and it doesn’t seem Josh has her back. She has to rely on other family members to watch her kids and she’s got another one on the way … I don’t know how Anna deals with it,” the insider said.
We’re hoping Anna and Josh can pull together to take care of all their kids once baby No. 6 arrives soon!
