Another Duggar baby has arrived! Lauren Swanson and her husband Josiah Duggar welcomed their first child on November 8, less than a week after Joseph Duggar’s wife Kendra gave birth to a girl named Addison Renee.

Josiah and Lauren named their baby Bella Milagro 

Lauren and Josiah, 23, have named their daughter Bella Milagro, Us Weekly reported. She was born at 5:24 p.m. weighing 6 lbs, 5 oz. and measuring 18.5 inches long. While it was apparently a hard labor for Lauren, 20, both parents are overjoyed to finally meet the little one. 

“After a long and difficult labor, our girl arrived,” the couple said in a statement to Us Weekly. “When we finally got to see and hold our precious Bella Milagro all the pain instantly went away. We can’t believe she is ours — she is so perfect! She definitely has lived up to her name which means, ‘beautiful miracle.’ Today we are basking in God’s goodness!”

Bella shares a middle name with her mom, who has Hispanic heritage. 

Lauren experienced a miscarriage last year 

Josiah and Lauren’s happy news comes after the couple dealt with a difficult loss. In February, they revealed that Lauren had experienced a miscarriage in October 2018, just four months after their wedding.

The two opened up about the devastating experience on social media, explaining that they decided to share their story since many people had been asking if they were expecting. 

“It is hard to hear when people asks us if we are expecting, when we only recently lost our baby. You can imagine it was devastating to the both of us,” they wrote on Instagram. “Our expectations of setting up a baby room, hearing the heart beat, feeling the baby’s first kick in mommys tummy, holding our little one and getting to to see our precious baby were – Shattered. Gone. Right before our eyes.”

Happily, three months later, Josiah and Lauren announced that they were expecting again. 

Lauren is the fourth Duggar to give birth this year 

Baby Bella is one of many babies the Duggar family has welcomed in 2019. 

In May, Jessa Duggar gave birth to her third child, a girl named Ivy Jane. Then in October Duggar family cousin Amy Duggar King and her husband Dillon welcomed their first baby, a boy named Daxton. On November 2, Kendra Duggar gave birth to her second child. 

One more Duggar baby is due this year. Josh Duggar’s wife Anna is pregnant with her sixth child. She is likely due in late November. Plus, John David and Abbie Duggar will welcome their first child in January 2020. Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband Austin Forsyth were also expecting a baby this year, but sadly, she revealed in June that she’d experienced a miscarriage at 20 weeks. 

So far, no other Duggars have announced pregnancies. But in a family this large, it seems likely that it won’t be too long before we get another announcement about a baby on the way.
