There Is 1 Crazy Way To See ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Before It’s Actually Released

If you’re a Marvel fan, there is big news: You might be able to see the new Avengers: Endgame movie a bit earlier than the rest of us. But, as with nearly every exciting piece of news, there is a catch: You need to sit through a 60-hour Marvel movie marathon first. One movie theater chain has big plans to show all of the Marvel movies in one major marathon, which includes showing the newest and final one before it’s actually released on April 25. But the marathon will only be shown in three locations.

Marvel will soon be releasing its newest and final movie

Marvel Studios has been gearing up for the release of its newest and final movie: Avengers: Endgame. The Marvel website describes the movie as “one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films.” The massive collection of films began back in 2008 with the release of Iron Man. Since then, 21 films have been produced, including the highly successful Black Panther, which changed the superhero world forever. Black Panther set a slew of records when it hit theaters in February 2018, but some already predict that the hype surrounding this newest Avengers film means it will see even more success than the 21st film did.

Ticket sales for the new movie have already caused various websites to crash

Ticket sales for Avengers: Endgame started on April 2, and since then, various ticket websites have crashed with fans trying to get their hands on tickets before they sell out. According to Deadline, the movie already set a pre-sale record on websites such as Fandango and Atom. And AMC Theater’s website actually crashed — but that’s because they’re the only theater offering a chance for Marvel’s major fans to see the new movie a bit early.

3 AMC theaters around the country are offering up a 60-hour movie marathon featuring all 22 Marvel Studios films

If you’re one of those people who goes absolutely insane over the release of a new Marvel movie, then this one is for you: AMC theaters around the United States are offering up a 60-hour Marvel marathon to show every one of the studio’s 22 films. And the way the timing works, this gives the biggest fans an opportunity to see the last Marvel movie earlier than everyone else. If you live near New York City, Chicago, or San Francisco, you’re in luck, because those are the only three theaters that will be showing the marathon.

The movie marathon would allow guests to view the newest movie about one hour prior to its official release

This movie marathon isn’t for the faint of heart; it lasts nearly three days and begins on April 23. But the one major positive is that it allows the biggest fans to see Avengers: Endgame about one hour before it officially makes its public debut. AMC Theaters’ website crashed yesterday once it released the special, but it appears to be up and running today. You must purchase tickets through the AMC website. The tickets cost $125, and all three theaters are nearly sold out. According to AMC, the marathon will include marathon-only collectibles and a special concession offer.
