It seems like from the time Prince Harry had announced that he was dating Meghan Markle, there have been rumors of a feud between Prince William and Prince Harry. Once Harry and Meghan got married and moved out Kensington Palace and into Frogmore Cottage, speculations that there was trouble in paradise for the two brothers really started heating up.

However, on May 6, 2019, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their son, Archie, into the world. The entire family was overjoyed when they met the newest addition to the Mountbatten-Windsor family. Prince William and Prince Harry’s unique bond

Prince Harry and his older brother William have seemed to have a special bond from a very early age. When they were children, they were always seen laughing and playing together, it looked as if the two brothers really adored each other.

After their mother, Princess Diana, tragically lost her life, the two brothers relationship only seemed to get stronger. At a charity event in 2018, Prince William had once said:

“My brother and I’s relationship is closer than its been because of the situation we’ve been through. Losing our mother at a young age has helped us to travel through that difficult patch together. You’re like-minded. You go through similar things, it’s a bond and it’s something you know you’ve tackled together and come out better for it.”

When did the feud between the two brothers start?

With having such a strong bond with each other throughout their entire lives, what could possibly make the brothers distant themselves from each other? Well, according to many royal experts, it was Meghan Markle.

According to Royal expert Katie Nicholl, when William had started to notice that Harry and Meghan’s relationship was moving really fast, William had told his brother that he should maybe slow his relationship down a bit and Harry took immediate offense to it.

There have since been several other rumors involving Meghan’s role in the brothers’ diminishing relationship. Some have said that right before Meghan married Harry, Meghan was acting as the world’s scariest bridezilla and had even made Kate cry during Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting.

After that, the rumors of the brothers’ feud would die down for a bit, only to get started up once again if they were seen not talking much to each other in public.

Has baby Archie’s arrival ended the feud between Prince William and Prince Harry?

When baby Archie arrived, both Kate and William seemed to be very excited. Before they had a chance to meet Archie, William had said that he was “absolutely thrilled” to hear that he had a nephew and was “was looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down.”

Being that family is so important to the monarch, it is likely that whatever problems that William and Harry are having in their relationship will probably go away now that the new baby is here. William and Harry have always had such fond memories of playing with their cousins when they were children.

Many royal experts are predicting that the brothers will want their children to have the same type of bond with their cousins. So, if there is, in fact, a feud going on between these two, the arrival of baby Archie will definitely help to mend the strong bond that these two brothers have always had.

In fact, the brother’s relationship already seems to be getting better. On June 21, Harry left a sweet message on the royal Instagram page for Prince William’s birthday. The message read: “Happy Birthday to the Duke of Cambridge!”

It was sent from Harry and Meghan’s Instagram account. So, it seems that the supposed feud may already be over.
