Did Billie Lee from ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Leave SUR and the Show?
Although the dust has settled on what was the most explosive Vanderpump Rules reunion in the history of the show, fallout continues from the fights.
SUR hostess Billie Lee endured what had to be her toughest season on the show. She clashed with several cast members during the season and was even cast out by OG cast member Stassi Schroeder during Schroeder’s book tour.
Before the season aired, Lee was rumored to be ready to quit both the show and the series. She was left out from the girls’ trips, plus she was upset when the women forgot to tag in her the first ever SUR Girls’ Night. So did she actually quit?
It started with ‘Girls’ Night’
Once she was left out of Girls’ Night at SUR, Lee went nuclear from there. Lee felt hurt and excluded but was also annoyed at how the cast was treating her friend James Kennedy.
One of Lee’s sticking points was that she was excluded because she is transgender. Despite the cast insisting there was no malicious intention, she was still at odds with just about everyone but Kennedy.
She also was at her wits end after being left out of other cast gatherings. “She feels like she is never included on any of the girls’ getaways, which is kind of true,” an insider told Radar Online. “But it’s her own fault and it has nothing to do with her being transgender.” She ended the reunion by fighting with the cast too.
She continued to be left out
Schroeder was promoting her book “Next Level Basic” and told Jenny McCarthy on SiriusXM that Lee just doesn’t fit with the cast. “I don’t actually feel that bad for new people, because I wish they would just leave,” Schroeder said, Page Six recounted.
“‘You don’t even go here’ — that’s what it feels like,” Schroeder said referring to Lee. “If she was actually nice and kind and friendly to us, I think she would [fit in], but to just expect to be invited to every little thing we do when we don’t know you and pitch a fit when you’re not … acting like we’ve been friends for years? You just met us, so, no, you’re not coming to my little four-girl wine night.”
Lee responded by tweeting that she never even fought with Schroeder. “I’ve never fought with you @stassi and I for sure never tried to be bffs with you. I don’t recall missing out of a wine night of only four? So to call me mean is another crazy accusation. All from someone I’ve barely hung out with.”
Did she ultimately quit?
Lee’s Instagram is filled with posts about upcoming projects. She is active during Pride month, plus she’s joined Out Magazine for a special project. “So excited to share this project! I had the time of my life filming with @outmagazine to show you all how I #kweenout in @vegas,” she wrote on Instagram. “Full video coming soon!🌈 👑 🌈 Thank you @ko_onthego & @msisisking for kweening OUT with me in Vegas!”
While she seems pretty busy, Jax Taylor may have spilled some tea about where Lee is today. When he was questioned about not inviting Lee to his wedding, he may have revealed more than he should.
He tweeted, “That’s great, me not inviting her has nothing to do with her sexuality. We are not friends. She’s no longer working at sur and no longer on our show. I’ve spoken to her maybe 4 times personally in my life. I wish the best for her in her future.” So is Taylor’s tweet confirmation that viewers will no longer see Lee on the show or at SUR? Lee has yet to comment.
