Many times, celebrity couples have to deal with rumors of cheating at some point in their relationship. Tabloid gossip, after all, is part of being in the limelight and while most stars never address the claims being made about their marriage Eric Decker is not one of those people.
An accusation about the former NFL player being unfaithful to his wife, country singer Jesse James Decker, actually came from a Twitter user who claimed to know friends of the women he allegedly cheated with. In a since-deleted tweet, the user wrote, “I know people who are friends of the girls he’s hooked up with/have seen him in the clubs with girls who are not Jessie.”
The tweet caught Eric’s attention so he decided to shut down any infidelity chatter right then and there by clapping back with his own tweet. “Sorry lady the only club I’ve been jammin [sic] is The Mickey Mouse Club House! (That’s a kids TV show for the non-parents) Make sure your ‘friends’ check their facts,” he replied.

The athlete and the “Lights Down Low” songstress married in 2013 and have one daughter, Vivianne Rose, and two sons, Eric Jr. and Forrest.
Eric’s fans certainly didn’t believe he cheated on his wife and flooded his comments with support following his response. One person even tweeted that they have known him for years and that he would never do that to Jessie.
“Knowing Eric since high school he would never cheat,” the user wrote. “‘He’s a one and done for life. He lives for his family and friends and apparently is a pro at shutting down false rumors.”
Since her husband took care of the Twitter troll spreading lies Jesse didn’t feel the need to respond herself plus she made it very clear in the past what would happen to Eric if he did mess around with someone else.
“Sometimes I like to send pictures to Eric with little reminders of what would happen if he ever cheated,” she captioned a photo of a large knife and chopped up sausages.
During a joint interview with E! News in 2017, Jesse said that while her hubby hasn’t cheated on her she found out that someone sent him an inappropriate message on social media before. Her admission had Eric puzzled because he never knew about it
“You just didn’t see it. I checked it,” Jesse told him. “I checked it on your Instagram DM and some woman sent you a naked photo and I looked to go look at her page. She had huge boobs too and she was married with children. I so badly wanted to send this to her husband but I didn’t. I just blocked her for you.”
Eric played in the NFL for eight seasons and had stints with the Denver Broncos, the New York Jets, and the Tennessee Titans. He announced his retirement from the league on Aug. 26, 2018.
