Did Talking About Bradley Cooper Make Irina Shayk Want to Cry?
‘Two great people don’t have to make a good couple’
According to British Vogue, Shayk doesn’t think Cooper is a bad man. “I think in all good relationships you bring your best and your worst — it’s just the nature of a human being. Two great people don’t have to make a good couple.”
There’s an old saying “Don’t be sad that it’s over, be happy that it happened.” Shayk seems to have a similar attitude towards her relationship with Cooper. “I think we’ve been very lucky to experience what we had with each other. Life without B is new ground.”
According to Harper’s Bazaar, Cooper and Shayk have a daughter together named Lea de Seine. Being a single mother has its difficulties for Shayk. “It’s hard to find a balance between being a single mom and being a working woman and provider. Trust me, there are days I wake up and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I don’t know what to do, I’m falling apart.'”
Irina Shayk reveals she didn’t always want to be female
Shayk’s feelings on motherhood are interesting as she once felt she should have been male. “I felt I was supposed to be a boy… I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because my father always wanted a boy.”
These feelings did not last. “When [my father] passed away, I thought, ‘Since I’m a guy, now it’s my time to take care of the family. I said to myself I would never get married. Of course, later on in life I outgrew that, and I love being a woman. But I remember that feeling.”
Irina Shayk says this interview made her want to cry
Although Shayk had a good relationship with Cooper, she feels certain men are scared of her “coldness.” “I have a strong personality and I definitely know what I want, and I think some men are scared of that. If somebody’s out of my life, they’re out of my life and I really cut all the ties, you know? I think some people are really scared of this coldness. I also think not many people know that underneath this there’s a nice, sweet person who cries in interviews.”
Shayk’s interview seems mellow on the surface. However, she admitted via Instagram made he want to cry, reports Fox News. Regarding British Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful, Shaky wrote: “Since the day we met until now, my friendship with you has meant so much more than work.. And being chosen by you @Edward_Enninful to be on the March cover of @BritishVogue, is an honor. Thank you for making me a part of your vision, and always making me laugh, even when I wanted to cry while we did the interview:))).”
Despite any upset the interview caused, Shayk was glad to be part of it. “And thank you for your friendship @MertAlas @MacPiggott .. can’t wait to celebrate it with all of you ❤️ #BritishVogue @AliKavoussi.” It’s inspiring to see Shayk be positive in the face of her personal trials and travails.
