Did ‘The Bachelorette’ Fans Hilariously Catch a Guy Wearing Someone Else’s Clothes?

The Bachelorette fans are keeping a close eye on the men this season. That helps with spotting red flags from their behavior. But it also leads to some funny social media moments.

One fan might have caught one of the men wearing someone else’s clothes. What was he wearing and why would he be wearing it? Here is everything you need to know.

Some cast members spend a lot of money on clothes before the show or borrow clothes from stores

You want to dress to impress when you go on television. That means either spending a lot of money or finding a way to borrow clothes.

There are some women who already work in the fashion industry and go to shops and say, ‘Hey, lend me a dress, I’ll wear it on the show, and once it airs, I’ll put it on my Instagram [and say] where I got it from,” blogger Steve Carbone told Reality Steve. “I don’t think they get paid to actually wear it, but the company lends it to them for advertisement on the show.”

The practice of borrowing clothes might make the most sense given what fame from the show leads to later. Many of the contestants go on to get sponsorships that led to getting paid for Instagram posts later.

Others pay out of pocket for their new clothes. Some women spend between
$1,800 to $8,000
in order to prepare, according to E! News. The men, on the other hand, spend $300 and $5,300 to prepare. That cost can include getting their done, clothes, spray tans and more.

There is still another way contestants get around the problem of getting new clothes to wear on the show. Fans watching Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette might have caught contestants turning to this method.

The cast has been known to borrow each other’s clothing

The cast of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette tend to get creative when it comes to getting clothes to wear on the show that didn’t involve money. That includes borrowing each other’s clothing.

“You don’t notice, a lot of the time, that girls are actually switching off clothes,” Maquel Cooper who appeared on Season 22 of The Bachelor revealed to Vox. Although it is possible for the men to do the same on The Bachelorette they often get custom tailored suits, which make that harder.

Still, some men can get lucky by borrowing clothes that don’t have to be tailored or finding someone that is the same size as them. It looks likes two contestants might have done this early on this season.

Fans noticed Dylan and Tyler C have worn the same jacket on the show

An eagle-eyed fan noticed that Dylan’s jacket for the cocktail date in “Week 3” looked pretty familiar. That’s because it looks like a jacket Tyler Cameron has been seen in when chatting up Brown.

The fan tweeted an imagined conversation between the two under side by side pictures of them wearing the jacket. It looks like more fans are catching on to the cast’s tricks. We’ll have to see if more friends will be sharing clothes throughout the season.
