It seemed like everyone had commentary about the sisters’ fighting styles (or lack thereof), Kourtney’s stance on filming, and Khloé’s referee skills.
It was truly a major moment in reality TV; even former Mob Wives cast member Drita D’Avanzo’s narration of the melee went viral. Moreover, the scuffle made people wonder whether there’s a history of brawls in the family and how far back such behavior goes. Someone knows the truth.
Physical fights have been kind of rare with the Kardashian sisters
While brother Robert Kardashian has gotten mixed up in conflicts with his sisters some of the time, the squabbles usually involve the older three sisters and any of the other siblings (or Kris Jenner) on KUWTK.
And yes, occasionally, the younger two Jenner sisters get into it too. Arguments over major or minor things like clothes, friends, significant others, parties, money, etc. have been the norm for years.
It’s been Khloé versus Kourtney, Kourtney versus Kim, Khloe versus Kim, and sometimes, all three against their mother. If you’ve watched the show, then you know cursing and calling each other the b-word isn’t off the table. But there was also the time Kim hit Khloé with her purse and followed it up with a smack.
Kourtney and Kim regularly fought as teens
The big brawl seen in season 18 of KUWTK shocked many fans, but as teenagers, the two sisters regularly went at it. According to their former nanny, Pam Behan, because Kourtney and Kim were so close in age, they were tight but wore the same size and shared friends.
In her memoir, Malibu Nanny: Adventures of the Former Kardashian Nanny, Behan said the pair would often get into screaming matches.
“Kourtney and Kim hang out with the same group of friends and spend a lot of time together. They also have huge fights about clothes. They wear the same size, and literally on a daily basis, I hear them yelling at each other about an item of clothing.”
According to Radar Online, Behan said sometimes the fights would turn into physical altercations. “They would have knock-down, drag-out fights over designer clothes. By the end, they would be crying and bleeding. It was bad!”
The season 18 fight seems like the last straw for Kourtney Kardashian
Viewers saw it play out on TV, and soon after the slap-fest aired, Kourtney seemingly admitted she quit the show on Twitter. She responded to a fan who asked if anyone apologizes for being mean to her, and she said her family does not nor do they understand her pain.
Following that, sister Khloé chimed in and refuted the no apology assertion. It is unclear if the trio have kissed and made up, but what is clear is they’re fighting over more than outfits these days.
Fans are waiting for true confirmation that Kourtney Kardashian will be sitting out KUWTK for season 19.
