Disney+ Experiences Major Technical Issues on Launch Day and Fans Were Not Happy About It
After months of anticipation, Disney+ has officially launched and fans can finally binge watch their favorite shows without any interruptions—well that’s what they initially thought.
Instead of jumping right into the platform and experiencing a plethora of Disney content, fans were left angered when the streaming service started experiencing technical issues right after its launch.
The platform experienced some major connection errors
What was supposed to be a day of binge watching and all around nostalgia turned into a day of annoyance and dissatisfaction with Disney+.
While many people were excited to experience their favorite shows and movies on this platform, they soon realized that wasn’t going to happen due to some technicial difficulties.
The problems started early on November 12, after many user experienced either log-in failures or problems accessing specific content.
Instead of users diving right into an extensive library of Disney classics as well as new original movies and series, they were served with a Wreck-It Ralph message telling them to please try again later.
According to Downdetector.com, there were over 8,000 reports about technical issues made by 9 a.m. on November 12.
While Disney has been working hard to resolve these issues, there are some people who are still having problems with the platform.
Following their ongoing complaints surrounding technical difficulties, Disney+ released a statement on the issue and assured fans that they are doing everything they can to rectify the situation.

#DisneyPlus has exceeded our highest expectations,” the streaming service tweeted. “We are so pleased you’re excited to watch all your favorites and are working quickly to resolve any current issues. We appreciate your patience.”

“When you’ve been waiting for @disneyplus and their launch fails miserably but all you wanted is to watch That’s So Raven,” someone else wrote.
While complaints are still making their rounds on Twitter, Disney+ is working non-stop to give users the experience they deserve.
