Do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Want More Kids?
They haven’t even had their first child yet, but people are already making predictions for how many babies Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to have.
There’s something so exciting about a royal baby. Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s children will be pretty far down the line away from the throne, they’ll still grow up surrounded by royalty and will be called Lords and Ladies (unless the law is changed).
Do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want a big family, or is this the only baby they plan to have? Read on to find out.
Did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle say they want more kids?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex got married on May 19,
Well, for one
But that might be why they’re in a hurry – Prince Harry recently revealed that the couple might be aiming to catch up with his brother, Prince William, and have a larger sized family. Here’s what he said.
Did Prince Harry just admit he wants three kids?
The Duke of Sussex was recently chatting with a Falklands veteran named Simon Weston during a special reception. As the two men exchanged pleasantries, the older gentleman warned the expectant father to expect sleepless nights up ahead with a newborn in the house.
Apparently, Prince Harry told Weston in reply that if “he had more than two children, it would serve him right.” Does that mean another royal baby will be close behind this one? We can only hope!
Will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle be good parents?
It’s entirely possible that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are underestimating how difficult it will be raising a child. But they do have a bit of experience hanging out with their niece and nephews Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. They’re also incredibly warm and sweet when they encounter children during royal engagements. All signs indicate that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will make excellent parents.
There are a few other things that the royal couple does with kids that’s so sweet. Besides just gravitating toward little kids in a crowd, they’ll often get down to eye level when speaking with young children. It’s easy to imagine both parents doing the same with their own offspring. This simple gesture goes a long way to making a child feel valued and understood.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t spoil their children
It would be so easy to spoil their kids – after all, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are worth millions and could conceivably give their kids anything their hearts desire. But they want to raise humble children who appreciate the value of things.
Like Princess Diana did for her sons, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will keep them as sheltered from the media as possible, plus will allow them to act like kids.
As for how many kids they wind up having, we’ll just have to wait and see!
