Does Jana Duggar Have a Job? The ‘Counting On’ Star May Have Just Started Her Own Business
Is Jana Duggar now a #bossbabe? The 29-year-old Counting On star has apparently founded her own business. The Duggar Facebook fan page Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray was the first to spot the news, which was later reported by Radar Online.
Jana has founded a company called Arbor Acres Group
On April 11, Jana incorporated a business in Arkansas under the name Arbor Acres Group LLC, according to online records. There aren’t many details available about the company, but Jana is listed as the sole incorporator/organizer of the business, which is located in Springdale, Arkansas.
There’s no info about what the business does, and it doesn’t have any online presence. However, a quick look at other Arkansas business records reveals that it shares an address with several other Duggar family businesses, including Build Master Construction, which was incorporated by her brother Jason in October 2018, and Duggar Aviation and Duggar Properties, both of which have her dad Jim Bob listed as the registered agent.
Is this a sign that Jana is setting out on her own?
Could the news that Jana has started her own company be a sign that she’s setting out on her own? The name Arbor Acres suggests she might be turning her gardening hobby into an official business. However, the business address listed in the online records is Arbor Acres Avenue. The name could simply be a coincidence and have nothing to do with Jana’s green thumb.
Counting On fans have long speculated about the Duggar’s finances. While they get paid for their TLC show, they also have investments in real estate that help pay the bills, and have owned several other businesses over the years, including a used car lot. Some of the Duggar sons have joined Jim Bob in the family businesses. Jana also owns at least one piece of property, according to county records, which she has owned since 2016.
So far, none of the Duggar girls have worked outside the home, though Jill and Jana have trained as midwives. Instead, women in the Duggar family generally spend their time caring for children and doing other household duties. If Jana really is starting a business, that would be a Duggar first.
Some fans might cheer the move as a sign of Jana’s independence. But a few commenters on Facebook felt Jim Bob was simply using her name and she wasn’t involved in the business at all. However, based on her Instagram, she appears to be pretty serious about her gardening and home decorating, posting images of her new garden signs and of trips to a vintage market in Bentonville.
She’s also been sharing what some think are sponsored posts, like a recent Instagram update that mentioned her GMC Acadia. At least one social media follower even suggested that she should get her own show on Chip and Joanna Gaines’s new Magnolia Network, which will launch in 2020. Maybe this Duggar really is ready to strike out on her own!
