Does Princess Charlotte Have Any Friends At School?

Princess Charlotte is definitely a spunky little girl. The queen has said herself that Charlotte appears to have a very dominant personality. It seems that it wouldn’t be too tough for someone like her to make friends at school. The princess started nursery school in January 2018, but we haven’t heard much about how she likes it. Does Charlotte have many friends?

Charlotte started nursery school in January 2018

All of the royals start nursery school at the same age; Charlotte was two and a half when her parents first enrolled her at school. And her mother, who has taken on the role of family photographer, took the most adorable photos of the little girl on her first day. It was clear from the images of Charlotte sitting on the front steps of her home that she was born to be royal. She had a confident way about her, despite being incredibly young. Charlotte enrolled at Willcocks Nursery School, which is very close to Kensington Palace, where her family lives.

The queen has hinted Charlotte has a strong personality

It doesn’t take much to figure out that Charlotte is definitely a force to be reckoned with. The little girl clearly has a sassy personality, and she seems like she’s already developing a tough way about her that suggests she won’t let anyone walk all over her. The queen once dished that Charlotte tends to watch out for her brother, Prince George, instead of it being the other way around. It’s hard to argue with how adorable George is, but he does seem a bit shyer than his sister. When Prince William brought George and Charlotte to meet their little brother, Charlotte waved to the crowd like she had done it a million times, whereas George was a bit more hesitant in the spotlight.

A source close to the family said Charlotte has plenty of friends at school

According to a source close to the family, Charlotte is incredibly popular at school. Apparently, the princess is “very popular and is very passionate about art and music,” the source revealed to Closer Weekly. Charlotte’s passion for art and music doesn’t come as a surprise, since she takes ballet and seems to enjoy the arts very much. The source also revealed that Charlotte is very confident among not only her peers and family, but also anyone she meets, including the paparazzi. But Kate and Will do keep Charlotte humbled; she wears hand-me-downs from her brother and reportedly doesn’t even know she’s a princess.

Charlotte will attend school with her brother in the fall

Right now, Charlotte seems to be enjoying her time at Willcocks. But once the school year ends, she will leave Willcocks and enroll at Thomas’ Battersea, where George is currently enrolled. When Charlotte first started school, she wasn’t old enough to attend Thomas’ Battersea (the school only accepts children as young as four). Now that Charlotte has celebrated her fourth birthday, though, she’s officially old enough to attend the primary school. Since Will and Kate are trying to keep their kids’ lives as normal as possible, it makes sense that they want the two to attend school together. George and Charlotte will be classmates come the fall.
