Does Psalm West Have a Middle Name?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re probably aware that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have welcomed their fourth child, Psalm West.

The beauty mogul broke the news that their son had arrived via surrogate back in May before revealing his name on Twitter. But does Psalm West have a middle name? While the family has tended to stay away from middle monikers, there’s a chance Psalm got lucky.

Psalm’s apparent middle name

Kardashian posted what appears to be Psalm’s middle name in a Twitter photo shared in June 2019. The picture is the first one that gives a full glimpse of the baby boy, and features the caption, “Psalm Ye.”

Fans quickly noted how Psalm seemingly got his dad’s nickname. However, Psalm’s birth certificate doesn’t list a middle initial, so it looks like he doesn’t have one after all

“Ye” would be interesting, though, considering all its different meanings. According to The Name Meaning, the name originates from Africa and means “universe.” But Nameberry says the name has a Chinese origin and means “leaf.”

Do Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s other kids have middle names?

Well, that’s kind of tricky.

Back in July 2018, Kardashian uploaded a photo of their youngest daughter, Chicago, along with a caption that read, “Chi Noel.” The second name appears to be a tribute to the reality star, who has the same middle name.

However, Kardashian later said the moniker wasn’t official. “I love the name Noel. Kanye does not. So I unofficially Instagrammed ‘Chi Noel’ and I was like, ‘I’m doing this because I want her middle name to be Noel,’” she said in a video on her now-shuttered app.

She said she intends to make it the real deal, though.

“I’m going to add [a middle name],” Kardashian continued. “I haven’t really been into middle names, but I really wanted a name that was short — a one-syllable name. Noel is my middle name, and it’s not a one-syllable name, but it’s short.”

It’s unclear if Chicago’s older siblings, North and Saint, have them. But they do have adorable nicknames. Friends and family call North “Nori,” and Saint “Sainty.” Cute, right?

Will Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have more kids?

Both Kardashian and West have expressed their shared desire to have a big family. But baby No. 4 may be it.

“Kim has always wanted four kids. She talks about it all the time,” an insider told People. But the source added, “She likely won’t have any more after this.”

Kardashian herself echoed those comments in an April interview with Elle, in which she said, “I don’t think I could handle more than [four]. My time is spread really thin. And I think it’s important that in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids.”

These days, West is seriously focused on his music while Kardashian is studying to become a lawyer, which takes up most of her days. So it seems like they wouldn’t even have the time to have another baby even if they wanted to.

But we’ve gotta say: It’d be pretty cool to see what kind of name they’d come up for it.
