Dr. Pimple Popper follows Dr. Sandra Lee coming to the rescue for many fascinating skin cases. She gained fame from popping pimples on YouTube but the show has brought many more conditions to light.

The doctor’s show will return on Thursday, July 11 at 9 p.m. EST on TLC. It’s unknown how many episodes will be in the new season. However, Season 1 had six episodes and Season 2 had ten episodes. It’s possible we’ll get ten episodes or more this time around.

The trailer teases one of the biggest pops and more

Last season of Dr. Pimple Popper had many unique cases including a cancerous horn on someone’s head. This season has even more in store.

The trailer teases another woman having something growing out of the top of her head. There are a few other patients with patches on their skin and one is heard saying “It feels like somebody poured gasoline on me.”

Then there are multiple patients with really big lumps that might be popped. One of which is described as “Definitely one of the bigger ones we’ve done” by someone working in Dr. Lee’s office.

All of the patients talk about the ways the conditions have affected their life. That includes headaches, bullying, and having trouble breathing.

There will be some emotional moments

The trailer doesn’t just tease cases. It shows that there will probably be a lot of tears ahead.

Dr. Lee is seen telling someone, “The bad news is there is no real cure.” We then see an unhappy patient. “I feel like you’re really frustrated about this,” said the dermatologist. The patient responded saying, “More than frustrated. I disagree!”

Another patient is brought to tears. Dr. Lee tells him, “I feel like today’s the day you lose this bump.” We also see Dr. Lee confused about a bump that is someone’s finger and she says she doesn’t know what they’re going to do.

Dr. Lee has acknowledged that part of her success is probably how she handles her patients. “You know, they’re not under general anesthesia,” she explained to ABC News. “And we are coming at them with needles or something sharp… I do think that that is part of what makes my videos work or this TV show work– any of this is because of the way that I interact with people and the way that they trust me. And I don’t take that lightly here.”

The show also doesn’t charge patients for their procedures. Dr. Lee said it’s “because they’re allowing us to tape them and really they’re showing their life … So that’s our thanks to them really.”

Fans will have to wait and see how the new season will play out. Dr. Pimple Popper Season 3 premieres Thursday, July 11 at 9 p.m. EST on TLC
