Bergeron has hosted the show since 2005 and Andrews started hosting in 2010. Fans really grew attached to the duo so it was shocking news that they were fired before season 29.

“Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It’s been an incredible 15-year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I’m grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?” Bergeron tweeted on July 13.

“Thank you ABC and the entire Dancing with the Stars family for six memorable seasons. Those years wouldn’t have been as special without my loving host Tom Bergeron, the talented dancers, and witty judges. I will always cherish my days on that set, even if I wasn’t the best at walking in heels,” Andrews shared on Twitter.

The model started on reality television by creating America’s Next Top Model. She then starred in her own talk show.

Banks later branched out to hosting America’s Got Talent. That lasted two seasons before she moved on to other projects. She’s now hosting the dancing competition show.

“I’ve been a fan of DWTS since its beginning … The fun mixed with raw emotion, seeing celebrities push past their comfort zones, the sizzling dance performances … it’s always transported me to my days of turning it up 10 notches on the catwalk,” Banks claimed in a press release, according to CNN.

Fisher won season 15 of Dancing with the Stars then hosted Dancing With the Stars: Juniors. He is one of many alums reacting to the big change.

“It’s odd,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “Tyra is very talented, and ABC, I would say, most of the time knows what they’re doing. It’s really just a matter of seeing it actually happen.”

He went on to talk about what Bergeron and Andrews added to the show. “I’m curious… the tonal quality of the show is so family-oriented, and I think that Tom and Erin have played a large part in cultivating that feeling for fans at home,” he said.

“So their absence, I think, is… I mean, it’s evident based on social media and all that stuff how people feel in terms of their absence from the show,” he continued.

It looks like Fisher is waiting along with the rest of the fan base to see how things will play out. Dancing with the Stars will return in the fall.
