Every Time The Internet Has Called Out Kim Kardashian For Her Parenting Skills
Like most parents raising their children in the spotlight, Kim Kardashian West knows, first hand, what it’s like being criticized for her parenting skills.
For the past few years, the mom of three hasn’t been able to catch a break when it comes to the internet telling her how to how to parent her kids.
The reality star has clapped back at many who questioned her parenting skills but Kardashian West is learning that there is no escaping mom-shamers.
Fans are upset Kim lets her oldest daughter wear makeup
With Kim Kardashian West being a lover of makeup and the CEO of her own beauty empire, of course, she lets her daughters try on a few beauty products here and there.
However, the reality star has been called out more times than once for letting her five-year-old daughter, North, wear makeup in public.
Just recently, the oldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West was caught stealing the spotlight at her father’s “Sunday Service” at their home in California.
Footage from that day shows North wearing a frilly black dress, lace-up boots, some designer shades, and edgy black lipstick.
Though the young girl was unapologetically living her best life dancing alongside her friend, the Kardashian family couldn’t help but share videos of North to social media.
Once the video was up, many were upset by North’s appearance and called Kardashian West out for allowing her daughter to wear makeup and clothes that little girls her age should not be wearing.
“She shouldn’t be wearing that dark lipstick because she’s too young,” someone commented. “She doesn’t need to be dancing like this to church music. My granny would’ve slapped all the black smooth up off me.”
“Why is she wearing makeup?” someone asked, while another wrote, “Wake up world, this is so inappropriate for a young child to be dressed all in black [with lipstick]. shaking like this … this is so wrong.”
Kim Kardashian West jut got over receiving backlash after she allowed North to wear red lipstick to the Annual Kardashian Christmas Party back in December.
Back in September, the reality star actually called out mom-shamers after she shared photos of North wearing lipstick and eyeshadow out in public.
Kardashian posted a message on her Instagram story that read, “Relax mom shamers, it’s coming off in a few mins. I needed a bribe to get her out of the door…you feel me?!?”
When Kim straightened North’s naturally curly hair
Some might recall the internet going into a frenzy after Kim Kardashian shared a few photos of North with straight hair.
Many criticized the reality star for ultimately “ruining” her daughter’s natural curl pattern and some even believed Kardashian gave her daughter hair extensions to wear.
The accusations started to become too much, so Kim Kardashian spoke out against the criticism and set the record straight.
Kardashian West revealed to Buzzfeed at her KKW Beauty and Fragrance pop-up launch, “She wanted to try straight hair so I said she could try it for her birthday party and then if she liked it, she could do it in New York for her birthday. It’s very limited to just that. And she knows that.”
“I think everyone thought it was this crazy pressed thing — I mean, I just used a flat iron and everyone was saying she was wearing extensions and I was like, ‘No, she has curly hair, so that’s what the length of her hair is when it’s straightened.’ I was just seeing these things that [people were saying] online and they were just ridiculous,” she concluded.
Letting North design her own clothes
Back in 2016, Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West received backlash for allowing their then 3-year-old daughter to design her own clothes.
Just like her parents, North West has always had a passion for fashion and loves expressing herself through clothing.
However, fans were not happy to learn that the celebrities allowed their daughter to pick her own fabric and design a few of her own clothes.
Kim Kardashian was not about to have someone talk about her daughter and instantly clapped back at a mom-shamer on Twitter.
Kardashian West replied back to one user by tweeting, “Bc she has a passion 4 fashion & we’ve given her the tools 2 explore that? Spending time w dad @work isn’t bad either.”
As one can easily see, Kim Kardashian West is not at all fazed by internet shamers and will continue raising her children in a way she sees fit.
The reality star has yet to comment on the most recent backlash, but it is only a matter of time before she does.
