Everything Leaving Hulu This March

Hulu is one of the most popular streaming platforms available to consumers. The media streaming model is attractive to those who prefer a lower price point than subscriptions for cable or satellite providers. Hulu sweetens the deal even more with a markdown for budget-conscious TV buffs who are willing to watch ads. But Hulu’s flexible subscription options aren’t the only perks that keep customers around.

Hulu’s vast list of titles propels the streamer to continued success in a greatly saturated market. Each month, Hulu subscribers can look forward to a new batch of titles to enjoy. Consequently, the streaming giant must let go of some content to make room for the newly added assets.

New titles on Hulu

Hulu’s expired media will make way for an impressive number of titles in the March lineup. In an effort to keep subscribers happy, the streaming service will offer movies and series from every imaginable genre, including Hulu original content.

Hulu has an opportunity to leverage the positive buzz from original content released earlier this year. The streamer found an audience with the horror film, Into the Dark: My Valentine, which premiered on Feb. 7. Plus, Hulu launched the first seasons of the dramedy, High Fidelity, and the drama series Utopia Falls on Valentine’s Day.

Hulu has a chance of maintaining the momentum created by originals released earlier this year. On the heels of recent success, some new original shows will debut.

The Hulu drama, Little Fires Everywhere, stars Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon. It will start with a three-episode series premiere on March 18. The show has already attracted media attention thanks, in part, to the combined star power of Washington and Witherspoon.

Also notable is the streamer’s forthcoming documentary Hillary, which TV Guide calls “arguably its most anticipated offering to date.” Fans can catch it on Hulu beginning March 6. Beyond original content, Hulu will welcome classic movies, biting comedies, and animated gems.
