BTS’s Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final] concert series is almost over. On Oct.26, fans across the world were able to tune into the first of three concerts via a VLIVE livestream. During the concert, fans noticed Jimin’s wardrobe choice sent a message. In conclusion, ARMY had no choice but to stan Jimin’s pettiness and independence.
Jimin performed in a shirt one fan said was too revealing
Back in August 2019, Jimin hosted a livestream for fans on VLIVE. During the VLIVE, a fan told Jimin the shirt he wore was too revealing. Jimin replied he would take that into consideration, and he proceeded to wear the shirt for a video interview with The Hollywood Reporter. At the first two BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final] concerts, Jimin stepped his independence up a notch.
During the medley in the middle of the concerts, Jimin wore the shirt and performed in it. As BTS fans watched the concert livestream on Oct. 26, they realized Jimin was wearing the now iconic shirt.
“ISNT JIMIN WEARING THE T SHIRT THAT SOMEONE ON VLIVE TOLD HIM WAS TOO REVEALING ?!??? THIS MANS MIND I LOVE IT,” a fan tweeted.
One fan tweeted, “Isn’t that the shirt from the VLive where someone fussed about it being too revealing? Jimin said screw that—I’ll perform in it!”

When ARMY realized Jimin performed in the shirt they applauded the singer. To fans, Jimin’s decision to work the shirt into the concerts’ wardrobe showed his independence. While some fans might have opinions about what Jimin should say or do, Jimin will do what he wants.

Before Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final], Jimin hosted another VLIVE for ARMY. In the VLIVE, Jimin wore a loose green sweater that revealed his collarbones the way the famous striped shirt does. Jimin also showed fans he got another piercing even after one fan commented that he should not. After the VLIVE, fans posted about their respect for Jimin making his own decisions.
