Fans Trend #ThankYouTaeyong to Honor NCT 127’s Leader
Another day, another K-pop artist trended on Twitter. Fans recently trended #ThankYouTaeyong to honor the leader of SM Entertainment’s group, NCT 127. Taeyong is also a member of the new K-pop group, SuperM.
Taeyong appeared on Marteen’s new track ‘Mood’
Marteen, an American singer-songwriter, previously toured with Kehlani Dua Lipa. Marteen also collaborated with NCT 127 on their 2018 song “What We Talkin’ Bout.” The singer released his new mixtape, 8, on Nov. 8 local time.
Taeyong appeared on one of the tracks from the mixtape, “Mood.” In the song, Taeyong wrote and included the lyric “Thank you world, thank you mom, thank you tyongf.” The word “tyongf” is a reference to Taeyong’s fans and friends.
NCT 127 and SuperM fans trended #ThankYouTaeyong on Twitter
Because Taeyong thanked his fans in the song, his fans returned the same courtesy. After the song released, fans posted their gratitude for Taeyong on social media. Soon enough, #ThankYouTaeyong trended on Twitter.

“Leading your members, writing/composing your songs, performing on stage, making appearance on variety shows, touring overseas. This year has been a very busy day for you. Thank you for working hard, always. #ThankYouTaeyong,” a fan tweeted.
“#ThankYouTaeyong for all your hard work, constant love, and kind words. we’re endlessly proud of you and we tyongfs will always be with you,” one fan tweeted.

Taeyong made history in 2019
Taeyong is the leader of NCT 127. In the past week, the group made history as the first K-pop group to perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards. NCT 127 performed their song “Highway to Heaven.” The group will make history again on Nov. 28 as the first K-pop group to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The rapper is also a member of the new K-pop group, SuperM. The group debuted in October 2019 with their EP, SuperM – The 1st Mini Album. Taeyong has a writing and production credit on the song “No Manners” which appears on the EP. With this, Taeyong co-wrote and co-composed a song that debuted No.1 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart.
SuperM Supporters can catch Taeyong and the rest of SuperM when the group’s U.S. tour begins on Nov. 11. The last 2019 performance of SuperM’s tour is Nov. 19. Taeyong will then appear with NCT 127 for their history-making performance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 28.
