Fans Weigh in on Whether Brian Austin Green Should Have Cropped His Instagram Picture

Halloween was apparently the last straw for Megan Fox. Shortly after her ex, Brian Austin Green, took to Instagram to share photos from his holiday, Fox showed up in the comments. In a lengthy rant, she lambasted Green for sharing an image in which their son, Journey, could be seen. Austin decided to crop the photo after Fox’s comments, but fans are divided on that decision.

Megan Fox ripped into Brian Austin Green for showing their child on Instagram

Shortly after Green shared photos from Halloween, Fox left a lengthy comment on the picture. In the commentary, she questioned why he didn’t crop out the couple’s youngest child. She went on to say, “I know you love your kids. But I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture via Instagram. You’re so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year. You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human!”

Fox and Green split at the end of 2019 after nine years of marriage. Initially, they appeared to be committed to remaining friends and co-parenting amicably, but that doesn’t seem to be going particularly well. Green and Fox share three sons. Their first child, Noah, was born in 2012. In 2014 they welcomed a second son, Bodhi. Finally, in 2016 they announced the arrival of their third child, Journey. Green shares his eldest child, Kassius, with his ex-fiancée, Vanessa Marcil.

Brian Austin Green altered his photo after Megan Fox’s comment

Fox’s message was clearly received. Shortly after she left the scathing comment, Green altered his photo, so his child was no longer visible in it. Journey wasn’t the main focus of the image anyway. From the looks of the original snapshot, he photobombed Green’s photo session, so cropping him out was a simple task.

Fox has largely kept her children off her social media feeds. The last photo of the couples’ three children appeared on Fox’s Instagram page in November 2018. Coincidentally enough, the image was a Halloween snapshot of all three children. Fox did share a Halloween photo this year, but it did not include her children.

Fans are divided over whether he made the right decision

While Green eventually relented and removed the photo, fans are divided about whether he did the right thing. Fans and followers took to the comments second of Green’s Instagram to debate the issue. One user suggested that Fox had “bullied” Green into complying with her wishes. Another follower suggested that Fox doesn’t have a right to decide what Green could do.

Several users, however, came to Fox’s defense. Fans of the Transformers star noted that Fox has made her feelings about the kids and social media known and that Green has been posting tons of photos of their shared children. According to Fox News, two of Green’s exes have sided with Fox, too. Marcil commented, stating that she understood where Fox was coming from. Courtney Stodden, who Green briefly dated during an earlier separation from Fox, said that Green often used his children to “flex.”
