Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Engagement Guidelines For Boyfriend Jason Tartick–’No Neil Lane’
For the Bachelor world, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick are taking their sweet time to get engaged. But for the real world, they’re actually moving pretty quickly.
The couple’s been together since the begining of 2019. They moved in after six months and adopted a dog shortly after that. All that’s left is for Tartick to put a ring on it.
Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick’s quick romance
Bristowe says that, from an early point in their relationship, her connection with Tartick just felt right.
“I didn’t realize a relationship could be this easy and that I could be this happy with somebody. It’s just so easy,” she told ET. “We just have a really healthy relationship, healthy communication, and we build each other up.”
Tartick attributes their fast romance to both having been a part of the Bachelorette world where people fall in love hard and fast.
“The crazy thing about this whole Bachelor world is that it guts you up and opens you up, and you talk about everything and anything, and become comfortable in yourself and your emotions,” he told the publication. “I think that’s why you see so many people in the franchise have relationships, whether it’s via podcast or on the show or [Bachelor in] Paradise or whatever. … We were just so open. We know what we want, we know what we don’t want, and yeah, we’re here.”
Kaitlyn Bristowe is anticipating Jason Tartick’s proposal
Bristowe has a feeling that Tartick is going to pop the question any day now.
“Every time I’m like, ‘Oh my, God. Is today the day?’” she told Us Us Weekly. “I’m probably going to ruin the day because I’m going to be like, ‘Oh, here it comes! I know this is it!’”
Tartick confirmed that his girlfriend is highly suspicious at all times.
“We were just at Yellowstone on a family trip, hiking in the woods. She’s like, ‘Are you proposing?’ I’m like, ‘We’re muddied up. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. [But] No,’” he said.
In the Us Weekly interview, Tartick shared the rules he’s come to understand he ought to follow for the proposal.
“I think you have two rules,” he said. “No double halo. No Neil Lane.”
“I would prefer not to have a Neil Lane ring. I love his rings. It just [represents something else],” said Bristowe.
Kaitlyn Bristowe has one main request: No Jumbotron proposals
Bristowe went on to say that her main request for Tartick’s proposal is that it doesn’t happen on the Jumbotron at a Buffalo Bills game, which is Tartick’s favorite football team.
“I don’t really have any rules except for that one. Just not on the Jumbotron,” she said.
As for when the Bachelor Nation couple eventually ties the knot, don’t count on it being televised.
“Hell no. I would not want a televised wedding,” said Bristowe. Tartick agrees. Especially after all the drama that went down at Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone’s wedding on the most recent season of Bachelor In Paradise.
