Freeform has their ’31 Nights of Halloween’ movie schedule playing throughout October

Since October started, Freeform has been celebrating the spookiest time of the year with some fan-favorite movies. Their “31 Nights of Halloween” movie schedule features festive Halloween movies like The Haunted Manson, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Hotel Transylvania.

Additionally, during October and throughout the year, the television networks plays Disney and Pixar movies for fans to enjoy. That includes everything from The Beauty and the Beast to Frozen to Monsters University. The day of Halloween is no exception to these classic movies. This year, Freeform has a special movie marathon planned for those who love the silly Sanderson Sisters.

‘Hocus Pocus’ plays on Freeform all Halloween

This Halloween movie, starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, premiered over 20 years ago. Still, fans consider Hocus Pocus a holiday special, even asking Disney to create a sequel about the Sanderson Sisters.

We’ve got good news for witchy fans of Hocus Pocus. All Halloween long, Freeform will be hosting a Hocus Pocus marathon, beginning at 12:30 p.m. EDT. Throughout the day, fans can watch the Sanderson Sisters casting their magical spells. The final showing of Hocus Pocus on Oct. 31, will be 8:50 p.m. Then, the movie marathon will be followed by a showing of Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.

After October ends, Freeform changes over to a winter wonderland, starting their “Kickoff to Christmas.” This ultimately leads to their Holiday-themed movie schedule for December, entitled Freeform’s “25 Days of Christmas.”

November starts Freeform’s ‘Kickoff to Christmas’

It’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit. This November, Freeform begins their “Kickoff to Christmas” movie schedule. This includes classic Disney animated movies, in addition to Christmas favorites sure to add some magic to anyone’s day. The movie schedule even includes a Freeform original, Turkey Drop.

According to Bustle, this upcoming movie “will focus on Lucy Jacobs, a woman returning to her hometown for Thanksgiving break during her freshman year at college. Lucy is afraid her high school sweetheart is going to dump her (or ‘turkey drop’ her, as the phenomenon of dumping a significant other during Thanksgiving is called) while she’s home, so she sets out on a mission to prove to everyone how much she’s grown as a person during her time away.”

Other movies playing during November include Beauty and the Beast, Home Alone, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
