‘Friends’ Star Jennifer Aniston’s Latest Comment Proves Even Celebs Have FOMO

Imagine a world where the cast of Friends reunites regularly outside of the hit show. That world is now and two of those cast members, Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry, reunited once again and the world hath been shooketh. Among those? Fellow castmate, Jennifer Aniston. Here’s how she proved the fear of missing out (FOMO) is real, even for celebrities.

You’d think Aniston’s an old social media pro by now. However, the Friends alum only recently joined the Instagram ranks. Her first post in October was none other than a shot of a Friends cast reunion.

The picture temporarily “broke” Instagram, earning Aniston the Guinness World Records for the fastest one million followers gained in the shortest amount of time.

Now, The Morning Show star posts regular pictures of she and former Friends castmates, teasing more of those reboot rumors. We’re not mad about it, Rach.

The ‘Friends’ cast still hangs out in real life

Clearly the cast grew close in their 10-year TV stint. Aniston and Cox are close. They even vacation together, with their latest a trip to Mexico to celebrate Cox’s 55th birthday.

That aside, all the Friends reunion pics are making fans antsy. Will there be a reboot or won’t there? For now, Cox and other Friends alum, Lisa Kudrow, stood by Aniston’s side at SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Patron of the Artists Awards in Beverly Hills. Aniston was a guest of honor.

“It’s incredible,” Aniston said of her friends. “It’s like having your family stand right behind you because these things are a little nerve-wracking.”

Cox weighed in backstage about her longtime bestie. “She inspires me every day. She is incredible,” she said. “[I’m] just so happy to be here to support her.”

Here’s why Aniston’s FOMO comment suggests a ‘Friends’ reboot could happen

On November 7, Cox and Perry’s reunion selfie went live, causing a ruckus among fans and cast members alike.

The caption read: “Guess who I had lunch with today…I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier? #realfriends”

The post garnered nearly 3 million likes with comments by Kudrow who said “Lucky lucky,” and Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet joking “high-quality content.”

Aniston’s comment simply said “MATTY! I LOVE YOU, GUYS” with a few heart emojis. While it’s clear she was showing support, it’s what Aniston told Entertainment Tonight before the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Patron of the Artists Awards that has people talking.

When asked her thoughts on Cox’s photo, Aniston’s response is all too real for anyone and everyone who’s ever felt left out (aka FOMO).

“How come we don’t get invited to that?” she joked.

Though a Friends reboot isn’t in the works (yet), Aniston hinted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the cast could work together again, but it might be on a different project.

“There’s a lot of different ideas,” Aniston said, “but who knows?”

She added her “friends” are always welcome on the set of The Morning Show which means there’s still hope the gang will work together again. Could we BE any more excited?
