‘Game of Thrones’: What Kit Harington Being Spotted in This City Could Mean for Jon Snow
Game of Thrones fans has been busy making bold predictions for Season 8. But now that the cast is filming, they might be getting a better idea of what’s in store. This is especially true for theories involving Jon Snow because Kit Harington and a few co-stars have been seen filming all over the world.
So which cities has he been visiting, and what could it mean for next season? Here are seven things we know about where he has been spotted and what it could mean for Jon Snow.
1. Kit Harington was spotted in Dubrovnik, Croatia
The television star was spotted in Dubrovnik, Croatia, which is known as the filming spot for scenes set in Kings Landing, according to Winter Is Coming. The sets and props are being set up for scenes at the Red Keep as well.
This news probably means that Jon Snow will definitely be in Kings Landing in Season 8. We already saw him and Daenerys Targaryen close to Kings Landing in Season 7, trying to convince Cersei Lannister to turn her efforts to fight the army that is building beyond the wall.
But we also need to see the new couple fight Cersei Lannister, who will want to kill them the moment she gets an opportunity. We still have to wait and see if these scenes at Kings Landing mean peace or war for the characters who are temporarily putting their differences aside.

2. Harington has been seen filming with Lena Headey
Jon Snow and Cersei Lannister will be facing off again. The two were pictured filming a scene with two armored men in Croatia. Neither of them looked happy inside the castle of Kings Landing.
Next: He was in this country with another co-star.
3. Harington and Clarke were also seen in Iceland, meaning Jon and Daenerys are beyond the Wall
That’s not the only location where Harington has been spotted. Fans also saw him and Emilia Clarke in Iceland, which most likely means they are filming scenes beyond the wall.
Hopefully, this means they will be fighting the big fight and figuring out how to take down that ice dragon.
Next: There might be another Stark reunion ahead.
4. Harington was also in Belfast, which could mean a Stark reunion
The actor was also filming in Northern Ireland. This most likely means Jon Snow is making it back to the North, given Winter Is Coming also claims Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams and Hafthor ‘Thor’ Bjornsson have also been seen in the city. This could mean the remaining Starks will reunite.
Next: Harington revealed he cried because of this.
5. He said he cried after reading Season 8’s script
We might have to wait for the show’s ending, but the actor revealed that it has been emotional for him.
“We had the read through last week, so I know everything,” he said on The One Show. “But I cried at the end – not over anything particular that happened – but it’s been 8 years and no one cares about it more than we do.”
Next: Harington teased Season 8 will be larger than ever.
6. He talked about the huge final season
The star has been open about the scale of the upcoming season and what that means for his schedule.
“I’m actually down in York, I’m back in Belfast [where the show is filmed] some next week,” he told Time. “It’s a lot of — it’s just bigger than it’s ever been! It is sinking in, it’s just quite emotional.”
Next: Harington isn’t quite sure about this in his future.
7. Harington said he isn’t sure how he’ll feel once he’s done
Although this has already been an emotional journey for the actor, he said he doesn’t know about the future.
“I don’t know how I’m going to feel sometime next year when I’ve finished,” he told Time. “It’s quite a sudden shift, I guess, but it feels like the right time.”
