‘General Hospital’ Star Kelly Thiebaud To Appear on ‘Days of our Lives’
Soap star Kelly Thiebaud is about to start pulling double duty! The actress recently returned to her old stomping ground at General Hospital as Britt Westbourne. Soon, she’ll appear in a guest stint on another daytime soap opera, Days of our Lives.
Thiebaud recently returned to ‘General Hospital’
The actress portrayed the Westbourne for several years from 2012-2015. She returned for another stint 2017-2018 and has currently been back for another run on the show since last month. The character is the daughter of Dr. Liesl Obrecht and the villainous Cesar Faison.
She first came on the show doctor at General Hospital as a love interest for Patrick Drake, who is mourning the death of his wife, Robin Scorpio. They break up when Westbourne eventually reveals herself as very rude, including with Drake and his then-late wife Robin Scorpio’s daughter, Emma.
She becomes a master schemer and attempts to pass off a baby as Patrick’s. During this whole saga, the truth comes to light and she falls in love with Nikolas Cassadine. She ends up leaving Port Charles after her parents attempt to kidnap Nikolas’ son, Spencer.
In her most recent return to the soap opera, she has gotten her medical license back and is temporarily re-hired at the hospital as a replacement for Kim Nero.
On her return to the soap, Thiebaud told Soap Opera Digest, “Frank [Valentini] reached out to me [at] the beginning of this year and mentioned that the writers wanted to bring me back for a bit. “I said, ‘Of course I will! I would love nothing more than that!”
Here’s what we know about her role on ‘Days of our Lives’
The outlet Soaps.com first broke the news that Thiebaud would be appearing on Days of our Lives. She will be appearing as Zoey, the lawyer of Evan (Brock Kelly).
It was previously reported that Alyshia Ochse, who also appeared on General Hospital as The Woman in White, would be portraying Zoey in a “multi-episode” arc.
Thiebaud will still appear on General Hospital as she taped her Days of our Lives ain’t before she returned to Port Charles.
This isn’t the first time Thiebaud has been on Days of our Lives. She first appeared in two episodes in 2011, before she was on General Hospital, as a character named Alicia.
