Taggert was recently revealed as Trina Robinson’s father

After the soap opera teaser the reveal for weeks and weeks, it was finally confirmed that Taggert (RĂ©al Andrews) was Trina (Sidney Mikayla)’s father. The reveal came following theories that Trina could be either Taggert’s daughter or the daughter of Curtis Ashford or Nikolas Cassadine.

Even though it has been confirmed that Taggert is Trina’s father, a lot of fans still think there is more to the story.

It is believed that Passions star Brook Kerr, who just got cast on General Hospital, will be Trina’s mother or another female relative.

Here’s what went down when the detective protected Trina and Cam

During Friday’s episode, Taggert and Curtis Ashford go in to save Trina and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), who were both kidnapped by someone affiliated with Cyrus.

He has a vendetta against Jordan Ashford and Taggert, who brought him down years ago during a drug bust.

Cameron is able to get free and Curtis gets Trina out, but Taggert is shot in the middle of everything.

After more back and forth, Curtis and Jason are able to intervene, and the latter calls 911 to get assistance for Taggert, who pleads with Curtis to take care of Trina.

Several of Cyrus’ men died, though several also got away. Spoilers for next week’s episodes at Soaps.com show that “multiple casualties are admitted to the ER at the hospital,” “Jason confronts Curtis,” and “Jordan is furious.” All of these story points are likely related to the fallout of the kidnapping and shooting.

Needless to say, the storyline involving Cyrus and his plan to get even is far from over.

General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
