Geoffrey Paschel on Why He Has a More Loyal Fan Base Than Other ’90 Day Fiancé’ Stars
Geoffrey Paschel is a controversial 90 Day Fiancé star. Viewers watched him find love with his Russian girlfriend, Varya Malina, after having been married four times previously. Then fans discovered that Geoffrey has been accused of domestic assault by an ex-girlfriend.
Geoffrey Paschel comments on his arrest and getting uninvited from the season ‘Tell-All’
“When I first got arrested in June it was for domestic assault, which is bad in itself but it’s a misdemeanor. They tried to drop the chargers but the ‘victim’ [he used air quotes here] didn’t want to drop it. She pressed forward. They offered me no punishment whatsoever just to have it on my record. I said, ‘No. Absolutely not.’ They said, ‘If you don’t take it, we’re gonna take you to the grand jury, try to trump up the charges, we’ll try to get you on kidnapping…’ I was like, ‘You do whatever the hell you want to do. I am not accepting anything other than a full exoneration.’ So that’s what they did,” Geoffrey said of his arrest in June in an interview with The Domenick Nati Show on May 19.
After fans learned of Geoffrey’s arrest, they started a petition to get him kicked off the show. TLC must have been paying attention because, shortly after, he was uninvited from the season “Tell-All.”

“I feel that the network has bowed down to the pressure of a few thousand people as opposed to the 3 million people that watch the show, which is unfortunate. We’re in a different time now. The whole Me Too movement and whatever. So there’s a lot of pressure to cower to the minority and wanting to make sure that they’re making the wrong decision,” he said of the network’s decision.

Even so, Geoffrey still has himself a loyal fan base on his Instagram page.
“People are always saying, ‘Why don’t you go live anymore? Why don’t you go live anymore?’ I’ve kind of passed the baton to the next group of people. So I think it’s cool that I can go on live and still have 500 people. I think that’s pretty awesome,” Geoffrey said when he went live on Instagram with Nati on July 13.
He went on to say that he’d recently tuned in to a former cast member’s live that had much lower attendance than his lives.

“I was watching one of the prior castmates going live, who has more followers than me, and they only had 100 and some odd people yesterday,” he said.
Geoffrey thinks he has a more loyal fan base because he makes a point to interact with his fans.
“I looked at that and I thought, ‘Well, because I take care of my people.’ I’m not afraid to interact, message, respond to every comment, whatever, with my people. And I think that’s why I have a true base of people,” he said.
