Gizelle Bryant Confirms ‘RHOP’ Season 5 Reunion Spoiler That She Was in the Hot Seat
It looks like The Real Housewives of Potomac season 5 reunion will be just as dramatic as the season itself. With rumors floating around that Gizelle Bryant will take the most heat during the reunion, she had confirmed that it was tough on her.
The season 5 reunion is said to be emotional and drama-filled
Several spoilers and rumor reports have said that the reunion could be four parts this year and similar in tone to the emotional season 9 reunion of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In that reunion, Phaedra Parks was in the hot seat and emotions were running high, with Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams in tears.
For The Real Housewives of Potomac season 5, the pinnacle of the season, the fight between Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels, is definitely going to be a major topic. It is said that sources allege Cohen interrogated all of the cast members and challenged them, with Gizelle Bryant possibly being in the hot seat the most.
The reunion took place in person in New York and was socially distant. This came after two other reunions were held virtually this year (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of Atlanta). Bryant previously spoke out against having the reunion virtually on a platform like Zoom.
“Oh my God, I would be so disappointed if there was a Zoom reunion because we have so much to get through and to talk about and to really hash out that if there were [a Zoom reunion], I would be disappointed,” she said to Digital Spy.
She continued, “And you know what, I don’t want anybody… with the Zoom reunion you have the ability to like, get up and walk away, and I don’t want anyone to even have the potential to get up and walk away. We are going to get through all of the issues so hopefully, we can be in the same room.”
Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon have both teased the reunion
In an interview on Bravo Chat Room, Bryant essentially confirmed all of the rumors and social media chatter. She was the subject of a lot of scrutiny at the reunion.
“A major [breakdown] recently, and you guys will see as a little tease to the reunion, is I was sitting there very nice and pretty and everybody and their grandmother was coming for me for about eight hours — and then in the last two to three hours, I just lost it,” she said. “Wait and see, it was a doozy… it didn’t go well for me.”
Bryant’s closest ally on the show, Robyn Dixon, also spoke about what to expect at the reunion on Watch What Happens Live. “There’s so much to watch. I just want to say, being in that room, I was happy to finally let everyone say what was on their minds. Hopefully we can move past everything.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays on Bravo.
