Meghan Markle has great style and it has really evolved since she started dating Prince Harry. She also is great about wearing some affordable pieces and we previously shared them. But what about her more expensive looks? Well, you can recreate those too.
We pulled Markle’s outfits from her first official outings with the royal family to her more relaxed dates with Prince Harry. A lot of them are designer looks that just aren’t affordable for the average person. But luckily, there are similar clothes at a much more cost-friendly price point.
Here are seven gorgeous Meghan Markle-inspired outfits that are actually affordable.
1. Her casual Invictus Games look
Lands’ End Women’s No Iron Tailored Dress Shirt $14.99
PacSun Avalon Super High Rise Jeggings $19.99
Arizona Vasha Bow Slip-On Flats $32.00
Women’s Cateye Sunglasses $14.99
Outfit total: $81.97
Markle made headlines for breaking a royal rule in this outfit. She donned the more casual look with ripped jeans, a button-down shirt, and sunglasses at the Invictus Games with Prince Harry. The royal was pretty casual himself in a polo promoting the event. So what was the big rule the engaged couple broke?
That was holding hands during an event. Royal etiquette expert Myka Meier told People why the rule exists and why it is a big deal that the couple showed some public displays of affection at the event.
“The likely reasoning is more that while traveling on a tour such as the India trip, technically the couple are working representatives of British Monarchy,” said Meier. “The couple are likely to show very little PDA, if any, to remain professional during their designated roles abroad.”
