With large gatherings banned and millions of Americans ordered to stay inside, people are watching a lot of TV at the moment. Many streaming services are offering extended free trials to keep people entertained, including Hallmark.

Right now, you can get a 30-day free trial of Hallmark Movies Now, Hallmark’s on-demand streaming service. Subscribers get access to originals, including the When Calls the Heart spinoff series When Hope Calls; shows such as Heartland and Chesapeake Shores; and movies from Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Hall of Fame. Even better, they’re doubling up on their Christmas movies so you’ll have plenty to watch while you’re social distancing.

Hallmark Movies Now is available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, Android, and other supported devices — no cable subscription necessary. To sign up, visit HMNow.com. After the free trial, a subscription is $59.99 a year or $5.99 per month. (Tip: If you want to watch regular Hallmark Channel programming and don’t have cable, you can get it through services like Sling TV, Fubo, and Philo.)

Get a free Hallmark e-book

Hallmark’s publishing arm is also offering a freebie. You can get a free e-book or audiobook version of A Country Wedding by Leigh Duncan. Here’s the book’s synopsis:

Country music star Bradley Suttons is all set to marry his Hollywood actress girlfriend. There’s just one thing: he’s forgotten he’s already married. When he was thirteen years old, he and his childhood best friend, Sarah Standor, held a makeshift wedding ceremony in his barn. Their promise? To always be there for one another. Their vows? Not exactly legally binding. When Bradley visits the small town where he grew up, he finds Sarah running a ranch for rescue horses…and he finally finds his inspiration again, writing new music from the heart. Even as Sarah helps him prepare for his upcoming country wedding, they both begin to wonder if their past holds the key to their future.

After you finish the book, join Hallmark’s virtual book club on Facebook to discuss the story. Plus, other select e-book titles are on sale for just $0.99.
