Hannah Brown’s ‘Bachelorette’ Boys Have A Post-Show Group Text That’s a Little Weird Thanks to Jed Wyatt
When contestants first arrive in Los Angeles to film The Bachelorette, they have to get rid of their phones. There’s no texting, calling, or browsing social sites during one’s stay at the mansion. But afterward, it’s not atypical for contestants to keep in touch via Twitter, Instagram, and texting.
What ‘The Bachelorette’ group text is like
“There is one big chain with the guys and then a few smaller ones with each of the cliques that hung out the most in the house,” one insider told the publication. “The majority of the guys don’t have any negative feelings about Jed, but there are a few who do wish things would have ended differently for both Hannah and themselves.”
According to the source, Wyatt is “especially close” with Dylan Barbour (Hannah Godwin’s current partner on Bachelor In Paradise). Apparently, Wyatt also “keeps in touch with” Garrett Powell, John Paul Jones, Connor Saeli, and “some others.”
But another source told the publication that some of Brown’s former contestants still harbor “ill feelings” for Wyatt.
“Some of the guys still have ill feelings and resentment toward him,” said the second source.
Unsurprisingly, Luke Parker is still seen as the “outcast” of the group.
“Luke P. is by far the outcast of the group,” said the first source. “No one really reaches out to him at all, and a lot of the guys didn’t even bother to follow him on social media after the show.”
The last time many of Hannah Brown’s former contestants saw Luke Parker
The last many of the men saw of Parker was during the “Men Tell All” taping, where he got up and left suddenly after a commercial break.
Prior to leaving, Parker was in the hot seat with Harrison for about two hours. After that, he had the opportunity to speak to Brown about their relationship. The conversation wasn’t exactly flattering for the season villain. Brown told the audience all the ways in which she felt her relationship with Parker had been toxic.
“I feel like the relationship that I had with Luke, unfortunately, it’s a relationship that a lot of women can relate to. A lot of women have been in toxic relationships and maybe, just maybe me going through that and being able to remember my worth and figure that out for myself can help somebody that’s in that now see the signs of that and, ultimately, that makes me realize that I don’t have regrets because that was worth all of it,” she said.
Brown also apologized to America for keeping Parker around for so long.
“I just want to say, Bachelor Nation, I’m sorry. I’m sorry for this whole thing with Luke and him just being on our television screens for so long. Way longer than any of us ever desired. It’s my fault, a lot his, but I did it, I was there, I am sorry. I’m tired of talking about him,” she said. “The Luke P. show is canceled. We will not renew the season. Again, my apologies, and God bless the United States of America. Roll Tide.”
