Hannah Brown’s Dad Helps Her Get Settled In Los Angeles–’That’s What Dads Do For Their kids’
Though she’ll always be a ‘Bama girl at heart, Brown currently resides in Los Angeles. And it hasn’t been the easiest adjustment for the reality star.
In a Q&A she did with her Instagram following last month, Brown was asked how she’s liking her new city.
“Depends on the day. Most of the time, I am like, ‘Wow, I live here. This is amazing. It’s a dream come true, and I’m doing this on my own.’ And then sometimes I’m like ‘Where do I fit in? How is this my life? Am I cut out for this?’” she responded.
The video cut off before Brown could finish her thought but she wrote at the bottom of the post: “but really grateful and excited about what this new chapter will bring!”
Papa Brown comes to LA to help Hannah get settled
“My dad got into town late and I got to spend a little time with him before I had to go to bed, because we’re going to Disney Land tomorrow (!) and I have to be up at 3 a.m. He’s here in town because he wanted to help me get a little more situated. I moved to LA by myself with six suitcases and that’s it, so he’s being the dad and trying to step in and help. It’ll be good to have him here for a few days,” she writes.
Based on Brown’s diary entry, it was a good week for him to come visit because it was a tough week of rehearsals. It was probably nice to have that extra layer of familial support.
Hannah Brown’s week with her dad amid ‘Dancing With The Stars’ rehearsals
After a full day of filming at Disneyland (4:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.), Brown was relieved to go home, rest, and hang out with her dad.
After her dance rehearsal (4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.), Brown settled in for the night with some Chick-fil-A (Brown’s favorite) and her dad.
“I have 5,000 honey roasted barbecue sauces now,” she wrote.
The next morning, the two went out to breakfast before another day of dancing.
“I woke up hungry. I asked Dad if he wanted to go to Erewhon and get a steak and egg burrito with me because Alan has gotten me hooked on them. I feel like they help me before dance, but they probably don’t. They give me really bad burps, actually,” she wrote.
Then, Brown and her dad ran into the paparazzi.
“I drove him over to the studio and let him say hey to everybody. The paparazzi was out there and I gave him my coffee to hold and then I spilled my coffee on his shirt. I kind of feel bad about that. That’s what dads do for their kids… they take one for the team. He met Alan and we got to working on our dance and he took the car exploring LA and trying to help me get my life together,” she wrote.
We’re hoping Brown’s feeling more settled in Los Angeles after a week with her dad. Nothing like family to help a new city feel like home.
